EDITOR'S NOTE
Mfesi Mayekiso
It means, for everything, there is an allocated
time. We should know when to stay and when
we should go. We should utilize our time
accordingly, and for us to do that, we should
be able to discern the times. Many a times
when people stay in places even when their
time is over, and they overextend their
presence. In the process miss out on the
opportunities allocated for that particular
allocated time they have spent in a wrong
place. This is a call from us children of God, to
know the times, discern the times. Do not
waste your time and do not let others waste it
for you. It is the most precious resource God
gave every individual on earth. It is how you
utilize your time that determines your wisdom
and strength as well as your value. It is the
most expensive commodity. Every minute you
lose you can never recover it.
VALUING TIME
“THEN JESUS SAID UNTO THEM, MY TIME IS NOT
YET COME: BUT YOUR TIME IS ALWAYS READY.”–
JOHN 7:6 KJV
The bible talks a lot about time, Jesus teaching people to
discern the times [seasons]. Eccl 3:1-8 tells us there is a
time for every activity on this earth. Basically what this
says is that we should be wise, and not extend our time
where its use is supposed to have been diminished.
We have been quiet for a while, focusing on
other assignments that the Lord needed us to
focus on. It is now time for us to again bring
you whatever message the Lord needs us to
bring you. Our focus this year will be on
equipping the saints.
Jesus is our only hope for everything. We are
faced with many things but with Christ we are
strengthened to stand and survive all things.
Our ministry focus this year will be to
strengthen you in these dire times.
May you be Blessed!

WORKOUT YOUR
OWN SALVATION
Phil 2:12-13 Therefore,
my beloved, as you
have always obeyed,
not as in my presence
only, but now much
more in my absence,
workout your own
salvation with fear and
trembling; for it is God
who works in you both
to will and to do for His
good pleasure
Self-centeredness is a way of
life for some. A way many
people were actually forced to
by the behavior of others and
therefore, decided to put
themselves first. However,
selfishness is not a fruit of the
spirit. Christ made it clear when
He gave His life to be martyred
on the cross. So we also cannot
be selfish.
The scripture above is the only
thing that gives you permission
to selfishness. Be selfish in
Christ. When you are selfish in
Christ it all becomes about God.
My translated version of it is:-
Redeem salvation given to you
by grace, through reverence
which equates to wisdom and
obedience, allowing
sanctification and
transformation by the Holy
Spirit for service, for God's
good pleasure.

“Keep

Remain in

O B E D I E N C E
Obedience is better than
sacrifice. Israel had different
types of offerings
accompanied by sacrifice
because they just could not
obey God. Disobedience is the
ultimate sin. It is what led to
the fall of mankind. It is equal
to rebellion. Satan is the king
of rebellion and he was cast
out of heaven. You can never
allow yourself to be
disobedient to God. Doing the
opposite of God's word is
disobedience
R E D E E M S A L V A T I O N
No one has worked or can
work for salvation, it is
already given by grace. Into
God's presence we only come
by grace not by works. The
only thing we ought to
continuously seek is the
righteousness of the kingdom.
We are to yearn for a good
standing with God. We have
all sinned and fallen short of
the glory of God, but through
Christ we can walk in
salvation. We just need to
believe.
S A N C T I F I C A T I O N A N D
T R A N S F O R M A T I O N
The blood of Jesus was shed
on the cross to seal the
covenant between God and
His people. It also stands for
the atoning of sin. It also
speaks on our behalf.
Before the atoning and
speaking however, one has to
be in a covenant with God.
This is a process so painful as
it illuminates all iniquities and
weaknesses so as to transform
the person to a mirror image
of Christ. It's a process that
cannot be skipped as painful
as it is. We have to allow the
Holy Spirit to work in us to
produce who we really are
R E V E R A N C E [ W I S D O M ]
Wisdom is the knowledge of
God's word, understood and
applied. The beginning of
wisdom is to revere God,
which is to hate evil. We need
to apply God's word in our
lives. Scripture carries
instruction of how we ought to
speak [Be slow to speak], think
[Have the mind of Christ], Act
[we wrestle not against flesh
and blood], walk [be led by the
Spirit]. We have to apply the
instructions of the
word, not just memorise it, for
when we just memorise it'll
bear no results.
F O R S E R V I C E
All this is to be able to serve
God in Spirit and in truth.
Because when we have been
transformed we are in the
image of He who was found to
be without blemish, but about
His Father's business. He
served the Father through the
people while in flesh, hence He
said, “my food is to do the will
of Him who sent me and to
finish His work”. We also work
out our own salvation that we
may be within God's will and
serve in the kingdom. It is in
this position that we can ask
whatever and the Father in
heaven will do it. Because
when you are within His
will, you are His will.
F O R H I S [ G O D ' S ] G O O D P L E A S U R E
God created us for Himself, to pleasure Himself. You see in Genesis that after creation He would
be pleased with Himself. What could be even more pleasing than to see His best creation working
according to its original form and purpose? His craft doing the good works that it was created for?

Proverbs 4:23 Keep [Guard] your heart
with all diligence, for out of
it spring the issues of life.
But now in our day to day life we are faced with
situations and people who are constantly trying to shift
us from our position. How do we ignore these people
and these situations? Guard your hearts and minds.
When a person is in a bad mood usually they want to
drag someone else to give them company in their
position. This is where selfishness is allowed. Do not
allow someone else to shift you from your own position
to entertain theirs. Choose not to go there with them,
in other words ignore their invitation. For others you
could be trying to apply the word of God e.g. showing
kindness, gentleness etc. but they throw it back at you.
This is when you have to be mature enough to apply the
word saying - do everything as if for God and not for
man. It is Christ that you are aiming to please and you
shall surely please Him when you do His word. The one
throwing it back at you is just clueless and ignorant and
therefore, cannot be taken to heart.
With situations, the word of God says - be anxious for
nothing but by prayer and supplication. Any situation
that is out of your control is a call for prayer. Don't
meditate on it or try to resolve it outside of Christ’s
counsel. You will only entangle yourself in frustration.
Pray! then listen to what God is saying about it.
Our hearts and minds are to be constantly fixated on
Christ whom our responsibility is to please. He is a
fountain of answers and solutions.
May we have continued wisdom to work out our own
salvation!
FOR WITH YOU IS

Great is thy
faithfulness
When God sent out Moses to go and rescue Israel from Egypt. He was
doubting himself of the capability to achieve such. Because of this doubt, he
kept asking God many questions which He continued to answer. He was the
chosen for the assignment. The worst part of it is that he had no relationship
with God, and so struggled to understand what made God sure that what He
was calling him to do was a possibility for him to do.
Moses asked God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the
Israelites out of Egypt?”. “I will surely be with you,” God said, “and this will be
the sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the
people out of Egypt, all of you will worship God on this mountain.” – Exodus
3:12
Indeed, when they had been fully rescued from the Egyptians, Scripture says
in Exodus 15, they worshipped the Lord on that very mountain as the Lord
had previously declared to Moses. That was another proof to Moses and the
Israelites of how faithful God truly is.
In February, I found myself deep in a battle I had no idea if and when I would
be able to overcome. A lady friend of mine reminded me of the faithfulness
of God in His promises. That every battle we find ourselves in, is already
won.
This reminded me that whenever God sees us through battles, our response
to that should be to always worship Him for His faithfulness.
May you enjoy the short ministry by Thabile Khumalo on the link below. May
it also remind you of the love and faithfulness of God as it did for me.

Over a year ago, a sister from church introduced me to
this beautiful lady, a friend of hers that had just started
a chat group on WhatsApp. She explained to me what
the group was about and felt that, since I was running a
group with a similar purpose perhaps we might be
interested in hearing each other. I joined the group and
for a while as an observer or listener. Eventually the
spirit of the Lord spoke to me to say, ‘there are many
ministries but one Christ. There were twelve apostles
ministering the same gospel – Christ. Therefore,
instead of many ministries, the body has to be joined
together.’ We then communicated about joining the
two groups and the rest as they say is history.
Pastor Choice Hills is so much younger than me, but so
much wiser. As they say, wisdom chooses no age or
gender. I have learnt so much from her. She has
strengthened me in so many ways, encouraged me
into ministry as well as opened her heart and mind to
engage me in my every day hunger to discuss the word
of God. At the time we became close, the Lord had
invited me to sit at His feet so I could learn directly
from Him. She afforded me time for loud meditation
on the word of God. She is my sister and my friend.
With that said, I am introducing this beautiful sister to
those who do not yet know her and pray that from this
write up, she will have something for most ladies …

Choice Ruvimbo Hills is a wife to
Brighton Hills; a mother; a
daughter to John and Widi Bota
and a sister to four brothers. The
only girl in the family. In 2013 I
became a wife to my husband, an
Apostle at Word Ministries
(formerly known as Grace
International Ministries). That is
where my journey in ministry
started, as a co-pastor to my
Husband. However, Isaiah 60:4
says, lift up thine eyes round about,
and see: all they gather themselves
together, they come to thee: thy
sons shall come from far, and thy
daughters shall be nursed at thy
side. The daughters of God have
unique challenges and need to be
nursed in order to get on their feet
and inspire others. So this came as
another dimension of my calling, to
nurse the great physician's patients
by my side in word as well as
sharing the spirit. Therefore, I am a
preacher of the gospel and a
marriage counselor.
When I was a bit older, my mother
told me that she gave birth to me at
a Catholic clinic called St Clements
nursing home in Harare Zimbabwe.
In the agony of her labour pains as
the young mother then, she felt like
giving up. At the time she had her
own marital issues and pains she
was discovering. When the scan
showed that it would be a girl, the
pain took a greater emotional
twist. She couldn't imagine her
little girl growing up, and maybe
fall into life's ugly marital
predicaments. God sent a Catholic
nun who worked at the facility,
as Jesus when He wanted to give
up in Gethsemane was comforted
by an angel. This sister, her name
still unknown came and
encouraged her to push and give
birth. She encouraged her that a
girl child is loved by God and would
be like her, a nun, and if God
permits minister in God's service.
In my family my mom was the God
inspiration. My father is not a
believer. She was raised in AFM
and so we all got our spiritual
foundation there.
I attended AFM mission school
Rufaro High. That is where my
spiritual life had a great shift. It is
where I had an encounter with
God, and my personal relationship
with Him began.
Growing up among boys, I was very
competitive and always took
challenges. I wasn't afraid to take
the difficult subjects. I was used to
boys at home and always wanted to
challenge them and become better
than them. It wasn't hard for me
because intellectually I was bright
and thought that excelling was
evidence that I’d be a future
doctor, yet God had His own plan.
I met with fire branded students
and quickly joined the Scripture
Union Group, their zeal awakened
something I didn't know I had
inside of me. My SU teacher shaped
me into a responsible leader, so I
learnt humility to serve. I started
having prophetic dreams, Christ
drawing me into service.
When I met my husband, he was
still in Bible School training.
Accepting his proposal meant
accepting his calling. I was a very
logical person growing up, anything
that didn't add up to me was a total
turn off. That is when I knew that I
received a touch of God, because
after I met him, that strong edge of
control and logic was washed away
with peace.
I grew up in a society where I saw a
lot of women suffering from
identity crisis and very low selfesteem,
and that bothered me. The
marriages that I saw stirred zeal in
me to study the word of God, and I
discovered that there was more to
marriage and more to enjoying
womanhood.
Growing up as the only girl in the
family, I believe there was always a
unique way the Lord wired me
which made me feel for a girl child
and women. I desired for them to
live in freedom of the Holy spirit
and stand for themselves, not
vulnerable but well able. If a
woman was created a helper, I
discovered that there was a device
which the devil has been using to
keep women in unnecessary
anxiety, to waste their time
battling for equal rights ignorantly.
Not knowing that they were
created helpers, better than the
one who needs help. So a woman
can be better than a man, not in an
arrogant way but in God's way if
she has the right tools to let the
God given potential out.

Being a marriage counselor came not
naturally but by the situations I passed
through. They inspired me to seek more of
God's presence and answers. I've been
healed to heal others. I've gone through a lot
of the battle of the mind, just like those spies
that Moses sent and came back with the
report of the Canaanites as giants and them
as prey.
I was once an ambitious young lady. I did
things logically, but in ministry all the logic
which was my strength failed because there
is no logic there, just faith.
There was a time in both ministry and
marriage that I had an emotional break
down, an overwhelming experience I didn't
understand. I didn’t understand that the
battle is against principalities, powers and
strongholds. Such that I tried to fight
logically, constantly hitting a wall. As I
turned into more studying not just reading
the Bible but studying, I started living in
freedom by knowledge, and I became
stronger. It enlightened me to know that the
word of God was my strength and that is why
it was being attacked. The devil didn't want
me to discover and unlock the mind of Christ
that I possessed, thus frustrating me
emotionally.
My passion for women is fueled by
compassion. Whenever I look at an unhappy
woman, girl or wife and I'm always moved
into compassion. Sometimes tears will just
flow. The pain of others draws me to
heartfelt service, at times to even overdo it
dragging them when they don't see the Godpicture.

Matthew 11:28 - Come unto me, all
ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. John 14:1 -
Let not your heart be troubled,
believe in God and believe also in
me
Surrender is an easy word to say
but difficult to practice. True rest is
in Jesus and His offering to every
weary soul. What every troubled
heart needs is believing in God.
When recovering from childhood
trauma for example, the first step
is letting go of the inner vows you
gave yourself when you were in
pain those days. Saying to yourself
"no one will ever do this to me ever
again or I will never let my kids stay
like that ever or no one will take
advantage of me ever again etc."
These are inner vows done in times
of pain, and making these vows is
taking the place of God in those
situations when you said to
yourself, in your heart in
declaration never to ever be
disadvantaged again. You closed
the door for God to be God over
those areas through those inner
vows. In pain we ignorantly speak
to ourselves and take up the place
of God in those situations.
To begin healing, we have to
confess those inner vows made as
an insecure child or even as a
young adult. To every troubled and
weary heart, Jesus' instruction is to
believe. Believe in God and let go
of the inner vows.

Your spirit bears witness to the
Spirit of God, of the fruit of the
spirit which is love. Love then
manifests into peace, patience,
kindness, self-control etc. Your
soul on the other hand is not so.
Jeremiah 31:11-12 "for the Lord
hath redeemed Jacob, ransomed
him from the hand of him that was
stronger than he, so that his soul
will be a watered garden and they
shall not sorrow anymore at all"
The body is an earthen vessel
prepared for the spirit and a soul to
dwell in. As God is Trinity, His
likeness is manifested also in our
mechanism. The soul bears the free
will that God gave us, not to be
enslaved to Him but freely accept
His lordship through our individual
will. That is what Jesus said in Matt
12:29, talking of a strong man who
must firstly be bound to get the
spoil.
The spirit is birthed by the Spirit
and can never be possessed. It is
the soul which can be held and
gripped by strongholds when the
free will is taken advantage by a
familiar spirit into emotional
discord. The Spirit is blessed with
all good things, all blessings in
glory, but still the soul can be dry
and weak because of the
stronghold which hinders the
spiritual blessings to come over.
That's why we are daily
encouraged to feed on the word of
God the. It is the double edged
sword which cuts asunder the
spirit and soul. That is the only
weapon against the stronghold of
the soul which delays a person
from forgiving themselves. But
once Jesus sets you free you are
free indeed.
The image and likeness of a
woman's complex soul is of the
Holy spirit, the helper. if the Holy
spirit testifies not of itself but of
Jesus, the helper in the woman
needs to testify of something
bigger than herself. Any void
causes the soul of a woman to
crash to insecurity.

The story of Ruth's up bringing is

Prayer and fasting did not deliver
them from the floods but their
association did. Our spouses give
us a name just like Jesus did. There
is a certain level of understanding
that we need to grab and hold
concerning the names we receive,
they carry our deliverance as
women.
Ruth's deliverance started when
she accepted the name of her
husband. She clung to it, and Jesus
chose her to become part of His
genealogy because she understood
the importance of clinging to a
spouse's name even after death.

Daniel 7:5, And behold another
beast, a second, like to a bear, and
it raised up itself on one side, and it
had three ribs in the mouth of it
between the teeth of it: and they
said thus unto it, Arise, devour
much flesh.
In Daniel's end time vision, this
bear resembled the Medo-Persian
empire. But why eat the rib and not
the other parts? Because that is the
raw material of women. This
empire wastes the capacity of
women, devouring them into
nonentity, waste material. The men
that inflict women have this spirit
of a bear.
This is unlike the Jezebel spirit
which boasts and cause women like
Vashti to be too proud. The Jezebel
spirit reflects on men to be weak
wits like Ahab.
The bear(man) can marry the
jezebel (woman) because these
demons fall in love, before people
do physically. Think of the girls
who grow up super intelligent and
show a bright future, always top of
their class. On the other hand,
excellent women who become
professionals, all the way to the
top, but after they get married the
stars just start to dim, her glory
just starts to fade.
At times God puts people in
situations to work out a new
couple for his purpose and that is
understandable, but when these
spirits connect or intermarry the
woman is devoured in the mouth of
the bear. It might not be physical
abuse but spiritual and emotional
abuse which dims the glory of a
woman and turn her into a
nonentity.

Moses was at the right place and
decided to turn and see. God put a
wonder, but it was Moses's
willingness that caused divinity to
speak.
When God saw that Moses turned
to see, that is when the voice of
God became clear to him. I always
pray for this freewill that we were
given. God was waiting for Moses's
willingness to turn and see for
himself before divinity could say
anything. If Moses had just ignored
it, God was never going to force
Moses into anything.
My wish is that we always have the
spirit of discernment to always
discern what we ought to do at the
right place and time. That is why I
love the ministry of prayer so
much, it helps us with such.
One of my favorite scriptures on
such matters is 1 chronicles 12:32,

Watchmen and women that
perceive the times and events.
Watchers are prayerful people;
they discover seasons in prayer.

MAKING
WAVES
#Corona-Is it end?
The third seal talks about balancing of scales - It
would take a day's wages for one quart of wheat
[inner good], while it would take the same wages
for three quarts of barley [outer good]. So it costs
less to maintain outer good than it is to maintain
inner good, and God is interested in the inner
good. It is indeed true. Vanity is so much easier
than humility. Vanity kills the inner good while
humility kills the outer good. It’s a catch 22 kind of
situation which has been happening for a while. In
that balancing season, God wanted the wine [Holy
spirit filled] and the oil [anointed] to not be hurt.
Which now brings me to the fourth seal, death and
hell given authority to kill by a sword, famine,
disease and wild animals.
Honestly I believe that covid-19 came to seal the
disease season. People have been silently dying
from these man made diseases for a while now.
While Covid-19 is compared to Spanish flu, H1N1
swine flu it still stands out because these
epidemics did not have the global impact that
covid-19 has. However, many diseases have
silently killed people over time globally: aids;
cardiovascular diseases; diabetes; cancer, but the
key word is silently.
Covid-19 was first rumored to be as a result of 5G
installations, then we heard that a Bio lab in
Wuhan was doing a study in corona virus which
could have, by accident let out the virus.
My view is that both are true. Like I said, if China
didn't intend for this virus to attack the whole
world they would have contained it because they
have the resources.
I also believe that 5G has its own dangers which
might have been tested and proven to release similar
symptoms to that of covid-19. However, what we are
fighting now is the 'lab accident' more than the 5G
problem purely because 'lab accident' covid-19 is
contagious, while 5G covid-19 is at individual's
reaction. The covid-19 symptoms, whether by 'lab
accident' or 5G will be dealt with ultimately by the
‘vaccine’, which is said to be in its preparation stage.
Vaccine which is said to be the same as what Rev 13
speaks of when it speaks of the mark of the beast. We
have heard that whoever gets the vaccine gets
clearance to travel and trade, meaning whoever
doesn't will be locked out of the system, which is the
reason why many believe it to be the Rev 13 mark.
Personally I do not believe that whatever vaccine
comes from Europe or America will be to help
Africans, be it mark of the Beast or a depopulation
technique. It is just not for the benefit of Africans but
for whatever Persian king and prince in control, to
serve their end game. But what if I am immune to the
virus? What happens to me?
In conclusion, in this time of Covid-19 work out your
own salvation and start concerning selves with
droughts or famines and attacks by wild animals in
the upcoming years because covid-19 has sealed the
disease era. Chaff and wheat is being separated. Wild
animals have already been seen coming to residential
areas in different parts of the world, including a black
leopard recently seen in cape town near a residential
area. Drought has been slowly and silently sliding in.
Is this then the end of days? My belief is yes! Christ
warned us to discern the times so we are not caught
off guard. Question is, what are you doing while you
wait for Him.

The burden of making a decision
rises from a position of having
more than one option. God
despises indecision. When we are
His servants we are now and then
entrusted with a responsibility to
make a decision, be it for ourselves
or others.Paul as the Apostle of
Christ had many time distinguished
between speaking from a point of
his authority or a point of Christ.
He would either say 'I Paul...' or
Christ. Being the servants of God,
we are now and then expected to
be able to make firm decisions on
matters that require a decision for
them to move forward. This is what
to consider…
GOD'S WILL
Jesus said to them, “My food is to
do the will of Him who sent Me,
and to finish His work - John 4:34
Our sole purpose is to do the will of
God. Jesus came to set the captives
free and through us He continues
to do so. We each have a gift and
a call upon our lives to help us
accomplish what we are mandated
to do. It is important to keep note
of the call and the will of God when
faced with a decision
CONSULT HIS WORD
What does the word of God say
about your kind of dilemma? There
is scripture about one person or
another who was in a similar
position. What decision did they
take and can you live with similar
consequences?
SEEK GUIDANCE
God has given us each other as
fellow servants in Christ. Consult
them to hear their wisdom on the
matter. They might agree with
what you are thinking, but they
also might not. Do not be
discouraged by the disagreement
for it only signifies that there is but
one God and all things end with
Him. Peter and Paul disagreed
about circumcision to a point of
separation. It doesn't mean that
the one’s view was better than the
other. It simply means, God is God
alone and does what pleases God.
However, in the counsel of many
there is wisdom
ACCEPTING CONSEQUENCES
Understand that every decision has
its consequences whether good or
'bad'. When you make one option
you forfeit the benefit of the other.
When King David decided to take
the wife of his servant, he had to
bear the consequences of that
decision. So whatever decision you
make be prepared to accept its
consequences.
THOUGHT PROCESS
Our spirit is the one which is joined
together with Christ. Romans
8:16, The Spirit bears witness with
our spirit that we are the children
of God.
Romans 8:27, Now, He who
searches the hearts knows what
the mind of the Spirit is, because
He makes intercession for the
saints according to the will of God.
You maybe propelled to use the
mind of the flesh to process your
dilemma, but the mind of the flesh
only knows the things of the flesh
and is pleasing to it. But the mind
of the spirit knows the will of God.
Therefore, use not the mind of the
flesh to process but the mind of the
Spirit. The Spirit of God searches
the mind of the Spirit and returns
to it an answer according to the
will of God.
DECISION
Having done all, you are then left
with a decision to make. Jesus
prayed all night when He needed to
choose the disciples. Pray to God
for wisdom and understanding of
who will bear the detriment of
either choice, as well as pray for
them in advance that they do not
fall into the trap of the enemy
because of it. Keep therefore in
mind that if your decision goes
against the will of God, He will still
bring His will to pass. In the
process of your incorrect decision,
the Lord will be enriching you in
the knowledge and understanding
of His will.

WHY AM I, AN
AFRICAN, DRINKING
CHINESE TEA?
By Owen Ngandu
I have always been intrigued as to why Africa and black
people in general, seem to be looked down upon by the
rest of the world; and try to answer this question
without including politics, although some of our
leaders leave a lot to be desired. Are those the best
leaders our communities can produce really? But
anyway like I said, I will stay away from politics.
In as much as our political 'leadership', historical
injustices and external influences are to blame for
Africa's under development, or rather slow
development, we should also try and look at what we
as the citizens are doing and how we are contributing
towards the development we wish to see. It's okay
to recognise and point out areas where everyone else
has failed us, but are we seeing our own failures.
Are we also not standing in our own way to some
extent and contributing to the collective obstacles and
hindrances to development? I hear a lot of my friends
and peers shout out about 'the struggle', but are we
sure which struggle we are in now and if so, are we
fully equipped for it?
Enough of the philosophy, I will jump right into it. I am
a great believer in Africa as an ecosystem. I believe
and advocate for the advancement and inclusion of
African indigenous knowledge systems, ideas,
concepts and products into the modern day living.
There is evidence up to today that Africans as a people
have lived and survived on these knowledge systems
and products. I also believe that when God created the
heavens and earth and everything in it, the natural

gifts, which included the different make ups of our
bodies, adopted according to our natural habitations.
Our natural environment compliments our natural
being. Everything from food to herbs that we would
ever 'naturally' need was provisioned for us.
Most of what we need to succeed as Africans is in our
knowledge systems, concepts and products and that is
what distinguishes us from the rest of the world.
Surprisingly, those same knowledge systems, concepts
and products are on a fast decline and no one seems to
notice or care rather. Everyone wants to identify with
the west and recently the east, which is not a problem
by the way in terms of learning and understanding
other cultures, but let it not make us abandon the good
that comes from Africa.
Not all of our indigenous knowledge systems, ideas and
concepts are bad as we have been made to believe. In
as much as not all imported systems, ideas and
concepts are good in the African context. We need to
strike a balance. Which brings me to my question,
which is the title of this article, “Why would I, an
African, drink Chinese tea?” Well they have told me of
all sorts of benefits the tea comes with, I mean some of
my friends. Some even joined these Chinese tea selling
clubs/networks. The question that has always come to
my mind is, do we not have our own African herbs with
all these benefits or even better suited to us, they are
telling us about? I remember growing up in Zimbabwe
and whenever I had flu as a kid, my mum would crush
what is known in Shona as gavakava and make me
drink it, and the flu would be gone in a day. Ndorani is
another example of a well-known herb, which is a
bitter herb usually put in water or porridge. It is red in
colour and used to treat illnesses such as hypertension.
Now today I have to walk into a pharmacy and buy a
box of Chinese tea for my flu, seriously? Do we not
have African entrepreneurs out there that can process
and package our own African tea? Is this not the
reason why today we now have diseases that were
previously not common amongst black Africans,
cancer for example? Not to mean that the Chinese
tea causes these diseases, but most imported artificial
(GMO) products have been proven to cause cancer.
Let's give an example of something closer to home for
most male black Africans; Aphrodisiacs, it is common
knowledge amongst black men that African roots and
herbs are the best for sexual enhancement and/or
dysfunction treatment. Nothing can beat that
amongst African men, but surprisingly the biggest sex
drug in the world is Viagra, imagine? We can go on
giving examples but the point I am driving at is that if
we are not giving out value in terms of African
products and services to the world, taking advantage
of our uniqueness that God blessed us with, we might
continue to blame and suffer.
Developing these unique products and services and
transforming them into businesses and industry is one
way to change Africa’s fortunes. Let us have
manufacturing plants unique to Africa, services unique
to Africa that we can export to the rest of the world.
It has been said so many times that Africa is endowed
with natural resources and for the most part, that
meant minerals and agriculture, and yes it is, but that’s
not what I want to dwell on in this article, not to say
it’s not important, but that there are a lot more
articles that cover the subject, and this discussion
hopes to compliment the knowledge and advise on
may 2020 | EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS exoduscm | 27
Why am I an African drinking
Chinese tea?
Africa’s natural resources. We need to take notice that
now the world has changed drastically. There are other
opportunities in other areas that we might be losing
sight of. For example, there are Silicon Valley
companies that are worth more than some of the
biggest mining companies in the world and even some
African countries' economies. There are companies
that have less than 5 or so years of operations but are
already worth billions of US dollars. When we speak of
untapped natural resources of Africa, the human
resource is the biggest untapped talent. Hence the talk
of knowledge systems, ideas and concepts. Africa is
well positioned to introduce unique ideas that cannot
come out of anywhere else except Africa.
In advancing our knowledge systems, ideas and
concepts we should adopt them for use by the rest of
the world, thereby creating value and opportunities for
Africa. For example, the extended family welfare
system that has sustained Africa for centuries can be
institutionalised into a structured concept and
adopted for the rest of the world for value. The
modern western society that we are now trying to
replicate here in Africa does not recognise and is not
familiar with this dynamic. The reverse is true for
existing western knowledge systems that are needed
in Africa. Opportunities lie in adapting these systems
to suit the African market. We are the custodians of
African knowledge, ideas and concepts, we need to
learn to utilise them to benefit our society.
Yes, it has been agreed, the injustices need redress,
but let us not lose some of the greatest opportunities
we have by just focusing in one area of empowerment
without getting a full grasp of the 'struggle'.
Our thinking needs to change, let us look at ourselves
using a different lens. Africa is bombarded with
western and eastern systems, solutions and products
whilst we as Africans watch. We are the consumers of
these services and products, yet we have a choice of
where to spend our hard earned money. If we make an
effort to be conscious of what we buy and from whom
we buy, our society can truly be transformed. We need
to create our own products and services, for
consumption by our own people.
Our governments are reaching out to foreign
investors for investment into our economies, and
these so called investors are taking charge of vital
components of our economies, which in my opinion
would be difficult to recover, if we as Africans do not
get up a play an active role in our own economies.
It has been said before, one does not need money to
start a business. One needs a good idea and a good
strategy, the rest will fall into place. Let us pitch our
governments and local companies on local indigenous
knowledge and products and you will see how we will
change our fortunes as a people and transform our
beloved continent.

THE CURRENCY OF
HEAVEN
Receive my
instruction, and not silver,
And knowledge rather than choice gold;
For wisdom is better than rubies
- Proverbs 8:10-11
It is difficult to focus on anything else these days than
the wide difference in the way that the world does
things in comparison to the way things are done in
the kingdom of God. Back in the day when I used to
attend a lot of networking events on behalf of the
company I worked for, I got intrigued by one
conversation about how the problems brought in by
capitalists affect the livelihood of many, while it is
difficult to reject their money because it is needed.
We have two things that keep the world system
running and that is science and technology [the money
maker], as well as economy [the financial management
system]. If you had no idea why certain careers are
treated like gold while others are just, now you know.
Any career in these two is a future career, it's a space
where jobs will always be available. The only problem
being overcrowding with graduates.
The economic system manages the money market;
stock market; commodities market; spending trends;
borrowing and lending trends. The world central
control of all sitting with America; international
monetary fund [IMF] and World Bank. These
basically influence the above mentioned markets and
trends. Everything done for good profit margins.
Whoever controls the money controls the world. In
this case, these three control the money, so they
control the world. Whatever system the head uses,
even the smallest toe will follow it. That is why
generally our financial mindset is screaming 'capitalist'
from every human being. If your business is not driving
profit, it in an NPO and survives on grants and
donations. A business should make profits in order for
it to be sustainable. This is the financial system of the
world. Anything and everything can be sold, that is
what it encourages.
30| EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS exoduscm | may 2020
The currency of Heaven
Let's look at the money though, considering that it is
what we chase after day after day.
In a circulating video, someone said he did an in depth
lookup for a definition of money and found that, real
money is silver and gold. It is not the dollar, the rand or
the euro we see. It is also not the numbers you have
reflecting in your bank account. That is why when an
economic turmoil happens in a certain country, people
can easily move from being wealthy carriers of cash to
zero. You have cash but its value is nothing. It is all
because, the system as it is doesn't have real money
(silver & gold). However, what the system has done
was to create a contractual document of circulation for
all in the name of money. So when you work, you sell
your time, labour, resource or service to someone who
holds more volume of contractual document. So
between you, you exchange this document. You pay
taxes also as a form of renting out the resources you
are using that the world has availed to you. So what do
you truly have then as an individual if the value of
money in circulation is basically nil? The answer is
nothing but a very expensive lifestyle because you are
actually not getting from this system, instead you are
selling [your soul].
Question then is, who owns this document and what
do they actually have that makes the document
valuable to them? Is it gold and silver which are the real
money? The contractual document is just an exchange
medium; in reality it has no value. That
is why in economics the measure of its value is
important and depreciates every year. But it gives
them power or adds to the glory of their kingdom
because everyone is enslaved to it by virtue of needs.
It also gives them buying power to acquire real money
which is silver and gold. Who owns it then because
whoever owns it, owns the world and rules it. That is
the question we should ask ourselves. So the whole
point of an economic system is to manage the world's
financial resources for the benefit of the one who
owns the money.
You cannot serve God and mammon. Either you will
love one and despise the other
– Matthew 6:24
"Being poor is not lack of material possessions or
money. It is spiritual bankruptcy"
- Apostle Jerome Liberty
When you are rich spiritually it only takes bringing
those riches to the physical for you to be wealthy.
However, when you are bankrupt spiritually even
what you have accumulated today can easily be gone
tomorrow. King Solomon was the wealthiest king in
the world because of a spiritual blessing. People with
material riches brought their riches to him to benefit
from his spiritual gift. Scripture says we are blessed
with every spiritual blessing and that is the currency
of heaven, whatever spiritual blessing (gift) we
possess. It is not knowing how to manifest that into
physical wealth that makes us lack understanding of
how wealthy we are, then chase material possessions
as the world does. The world system and its currency
[capitalism] encourages people to be looters. While
the system in the kingdom of God encourages people
to be givers. God only wants us to acknowledge Him as
the Creator and protector of our wealth by tithing and
giving to the poor.
may 2020 | EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS exoduscm | 31
The currency of Heaven
When God blessed Israel with riches, he gave them
skill and commodities. However, when he instructed
them in Deuteronomy 12 to put a 10th of their annual
gains aside as a tithe and take them to wherever, He
commanded them to go and feast on them there. He
also said, if where I am sending you to meet in my name
is far, then convert your tithe into money - what
money? Silver and Gold. This would enable them to
bring this money into the temple and among
themselves purchase. Therefore, there would be an
exchange of commodities and money (trade)
- that's economics. But all this was for the benefit of
the Israelites. This is where the concept of the
contractual document gave rise from. The enemy
didn't have silver and gold, but he had ruling power. So
he used the concept through his own 'commodity',
except it is valueless. He used this 'commodity' to build
up a kingdom here on earth because every king is a
kingdom and the glory (weight/wealth) of the kingdom
is determined by its riches or acquisitions. A kingdom
to compete against God's kingdom. Hence the two
masters are God and mammon. So while people are
chasing after bank numbers he is collecting
commodities.
You cannot accumulate true physical wealth through
holding currency, be it cash or bank balance. You can
accumulate it through holding commodities. But true
[real] wealth is spiritual wealth.
Deuteronomy 8:18, it is I who gives you power to
create wealth. Therefore, chase up the currency of
heaven [spiritual gift], and that'll give you material
acquisitions when you have mastered the conversion
formula [obedience].

By Widi Botha
Many marriages are shaken when men are between 35
to 48 years old.
When men are between 35 to 48 many things happen.
This is the stage when small houses are usually
created, when divorce usually takes place. Not all
marriages will survive this stage.
But why 35-48 range? Don't get me wrong, infidelity
problems can happen at any stage but for married
people, I found this age range to be the most
challenging one. There are many factors that make
things go this way. This is the stage when many
married men would have achieved their goals like
building a house, buying cars of their dream, and they
would have accomplished financial freedom. They
would have achieved what they might never have
experienced before, so they become idle and start
exploring pleasure.
They start drinking heavily and start going places they
shouldn't be going. It is at this stage that they start
looking attractive to many single women out there that
are looking for stable men to take care of them.
Their cars, this new level of stability and their financial
freedom will attract women to them. Church becomes
less attractive for many men during this phase as they
stop going to church, or they keep going but will
become resistant to the holy teachings. So, they join
different clubs. Then they start entertaining evil
counsel from these clubs, from different men that
appear to be doing better than them. These men
become their role models. Some women married to
these men would have become too complacent.
As they stop taking care of themselves, leading to
losing shape and becoming unattractive by their own
doing. Some will stop caring for their husbands.
Some women will become very disrespectful. They
develop a sudden bad mouth, and they become very
militaristic in nature. They stop honoring their
husbands, and they start addressing them as if they
are children.
This relaxing is very common. People usually forget
what made them "loved” in the first place. To make
matters worse, many women start losing interest
in sex when men are at their peak. This is why
Plato/Aristotle suggested an age gape between men
34 | EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS exoduscm | may 2020
You should know...
and women (husbands 33 wives 20). Because a man
would be at his peak at 40 whilst a woman would be
adjusting to menopause at 40. If they are of the same
age a crisis might happen. One partner becoming more
interested whilst the other losing interest. When men
are between 35 to 45 the level of lust becomes very
abnormal. If lust was contained between 25 to 35 just
because they were working on different goals, it will
come back strongly between 35 to 45 when they are
now relaxed and celebrating a certain level of success.
If your husband happens to be between 35 to 45 then
this article is for you. Maybe you have already started
dressing like a Chinese Monk, you are at ease, you are
saying “we now have 10 years of marriage." Let me
warn you. For many men this phase 35-48 will trouble
them. They will do drama. Though for some it will pass
as they will return to being good husbands. Though
they might be wild for a season.
problems. Those men that grew up righteous and
upright might suddenly change at this stage. They
start having thoughts like "but I have slept with just
one woman that happens to be my wife can I die like
this? What does it feel like to have a different woman?
I have never experienced a different race, now I have
money will I not try? I don't know what a three some is
like can I at least try it just once, what does it feel like
to date a beautiful 18-year old of this generation, my
generation never had fine women like this new
generation."
Many times we handle these problems as spiritual
problems, but they are not always spiritually related.
Negligence in any area can cause much harm. Women
must never relax and say things like “we now have 15
years in marriage I can now do whatever I want." Such
thinking will bring too much harm in different
marriages.
The only dangerous thing is determined by the kind of
women they will fall for outside marriage during this
stage. If they fall into the hands of those women that
are too caring, or that use certain juju; that are very
submissive and too “providing” then such an affair may
become a second marriage or just a permanent affair
that might result in the creation of children when
it was meant to be just a temporary sort of a
relationship.
Many women with men that fall under this age range
know what I am talking about. I said men because I am
focusing on men, I know women have their own
This is a stage when HIV is usually introduced in a
relationship. Couples might have survived it the time
they got married. But it will resurface during this stage
(35-48). Many women target men that fall under this
stage. They do different tricks to woo them.
Competition will become a reality again at this phase.
Maybe you won when your husband was 28 but as he
gets to 35 another battle resurfaces again.
“Love relationships are like soccer if you win the
league this season you might lose it the next season, so

THE JOY
OF A
WOMAN
Hosea 2:16, “And it shall be, in that day,”
Says the Lord,
“That you will call Me ‘Ishi [My Husband],’
And no longer call Me ‘Baali [My Master],’
The beginning of an error is when we exalt human
culture by infusing the word of God into it to make it
legit. Colossians 2:8 says, Be careful not to allow
anyone to captivate you through an empty, deceitful
philosophy that is according to human traditions and
the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to
Christ. As the children of God, our culture, our
tradition and our philosophy is defined by the word of
God.
Some of the problems we experience as women are
due to us having exalted culture and human traditions
above the word of God. Culture might say, 'if you have
a child together and stay together you are married'. In
law this is not even regarded as customary marriage, it
is cohabiting. Customary marriage requires that there
be dowry negotiations and payment thereof as well as
a handover of the bride. Therefore, when a woman has
not been given over by her family to the other family,
there is no marriage there. It is not about how you
wed, but about the handing over of the bride
that constitutes a relationship a marriage. When the
cohabiting partners split, there are no legal
implications except those relating to children.
Paul in 1 Corinthians 7 speaks a clear distinction
between marriage and celibacy. In his own authority he
tells the widows and the unmarried that it is
good to remain as is. However, if they cannot contain
themselves to celibacy, they should rather marry. In
other words, be celibate or marry. This message
leaves no room for in between. It is either you marry or
stay celibate, you cannot be with anyone outside of
marriage, that is fornication. This is in the bible,
therefore, is a word of God.
There are also spiritual disadvantages that apply. An
official marriage, God has ordained and in His sight it
is a union. Therefore, there is a spiritual covering on
this marriage. Paul continues to say in vs 13-16. If you
are married, even if the other is an unbeliever, while
the other is a believer the unbeliever is covered by the
sanctification of the believer, therefore they should
not divorce if they are happy. There is a spiritual
marital covering on this one, hence usually it is
officiated by an ordained priest.
36 | EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS exoduscm | may 2020
The joy of a woman.
When you are not officially married you are exposed
spiritually, especially if one of you is an unbeliever.
We then wonder why when we are fighting so hard for
these ‘marriages’ as defined by culture, God does not
respond as quick or in the manner we expect. Some of
the problems we face are even consequences of us
defying the clear instruction of the word of God -
marry or be celibate.
We also wonder why a man who has not seen the
urgency and the importance to officially make you his
wife treat us the way they do, having allowed them to
have us in the first place. Jacob wanted to marry
Rachel and had to work for Laban 7 years to fulfill the
dowry requirements. But when Laban gave him Leah,
a wife he did not want, Laban did not say since you
didn't want her you can have her for free. Instead he
said, now you can work same period for Rachel.
Leah became his wife no matter how he treated her,
she was his wife and because of that she was under the
covering of an ordained marriage and God was fighting
with her.
The world gave us a relationship, dating, partnership,
cohabiting etc. just so we can exercise proudly the
'grey area' not catered for in the word of God. But
the grey area has consequences that now we want to
come back to God to fix for us. Is that not hypocrisy? It
is this world culture trap that causes women to be
desperate for marriage to a point of accepting
anything in the name of marriage.
The joy of a woman is in the Lord, not in a man. A
woman is the glory of a man, yes. A man that is in a
marriage understands that his glory is revealed by the
woman he has married. His wife reflects his authority,
power and weight. Would an unmarried man truly
understand that?
We need to hold everything we do as children of
God to the standard of the word of God, not the
standard of the world. God holds His women like
treasure, yet because we don't know this value we
have through God we settle ourselves down to the
standard of the world. We do this because we think
our joy is in a man instead of Jesus.
Everything you have comes from God incl. the official
husband. Therefore, you will fight tooth and nail for
your marriage given to you by God. But fighting
for a relationship or cohabitation is like pouring water
in the grass to destroy it, instead the grass just grows.
He needs to make you his wife because an ordained
marriage its cord is Christ so Christ will be part of the
fight. Otherwise you are fighting on your own.
Understand your value in Christ woman of God so you
are not swayed to and fro by every doctrine or
philosophy you hear. Or even the sweetest words and
promises that a man speaks to you. The joy of a
woman is in the Lord. The man, you are only supposed
to reflect his glory as your husband. Many
women, married women are crying of men who are

How can we then expect a man who has no
understanding of the value of the woman to respect
her? Dowry is cultural and biblical. It is the first step to
teach a man to value his wife. It starts by him
respecting you enough to respect your family.
The world and culture pressures women so much to
marry, because of the stigma that comes with being an
unmarried woman, especially with children. But what
does God say about these daughters? After all, every
woman is a daughter of God and a wife of Christ. He is
every woman's husband?
He is the Holy God who left His heavenly throne to
come and save mankind. That is how much he cared
and loved. He didn't have to, but He did. He spent on
earth 33 years, held up in mediocre just so as to save
us. It wasn't time wasting for Him because it was love.
Then He Being God, allowed Himself to be ridiculed
and mocked by His own creation. He allowed the body
to be beaten up and crucified to save the soul of a
person. This is the price Jesus paid to have us, His life.
No man can do that. That very God calls a woman His
bride and His daughter. However, that very bride and
daughter is accepting being treated like nothing. Why?
As s a woman, you are a bride of this very Christ, a
daughter of God no matter how low or filthy or
unworthy the world sees you.
You are the daughter of the Most High God who
qualifies you as a Queen in His kingdom, no matter
your looks or status. Why do you then let man trample
over you who can never do what Christ did for you?
Woman wake up, stand up and stand out. For as long
as Christ is not your first husband, marriage is going to
be tough and being unmarried is going to be a stigma.
Every relationship of a woman should stem out of her
relationship with Christ. It should be that branch that
Christ cuts out when it doesn't produce fruit. Let your
zeal for marriage be for a marriage with Christ first.
Let Christ betroth you first. Then He will direct all
your other relationships. You are more precious than
ruby in His eyes, don't value yourself less than He
does because of world pressures. After all, He created
all mankind, even the ones setting human standards.
His standard is above the world's.
You are deeply loved, embrace that!

"And I am convinced
that nothing can ever
separate us from God’s
love. Neither death nor
life, neither angels nor
demons,neither our
fears for today nor our
worries about
tomorrow—not even the
powers of hell can
separate us from God’s
love. No power in the
sky above or in the
earth below—indeed,
nothing in all creation
will ever be able to
separate us from the
love of God that is
revealed in Christ
Jesus our Lord."

2 Peter 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these
things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
I've been seeing Jesus with that Samaritan woman at the well for a long time, but I was only
sticking to one side of the story, ignoring the present truth. I started January with a purpose
driven lifestyle workshop and that's where it all became clear. The voice just said ‘let not my
children become too conscious of failure. After all there is no more condemnation to those in
Christ Jesus.’ I thought it was business because it was not just on my pastoral office, but the
main focus on my intellectual side. Then it came again and clearly said, “if it took that woman
six men to then finally meet Mr. right, Jesus Christ, why does a woman stick around wasting
potential where her fire is daily consumed. Potential needs to go where it will be appreciated
so as to live life in abundance.”
I realized that we have pastor Paula White who is now part of President Trump's
administration. She is in a 2nd if not 3rd marriage, but that does not define her identity in
Christ. Now Israel's capital city is reconciled because of her contribution, just imagine. This
season the Lord wants to truly elevate women on a personal note to save countries and
generations to come. Tamar knew that Judah was coming. She trapped her own father in-law
knowingly. That act we see as filthy, qualified her to be the carrier of the genealogy of Christ
just like Rahab.
Yes, Woman of God. On Sunday the Holy Spirit was ministering to me about the physical
body, why God is able to take a prostitute that is unworthy according to the world view and
make her a queen in His kingdom. He's an amazing God, that is why. It speaks also to the
women you are to nurse, the abused and molested who have turned to drugs and prostitution
as they see themselves valueless and filthy, and therefore choose to “degrade” themselves
even further, and some of these women are ministers.
I like verse 3-8 because it discusses the qualities of a successful ministry.
Jesus through us wants and will do things that are so much bigger than us. We just need to
learn to step aside and let Him be Jesus. Like He said to Gideon - 'go with the strength that
you have' and to Joshua - 'be courageous'
This is the time for radical ministry Woman of God and now is the time, it cannot be
postponed. Like Paul says, He will keep stirring up the memory of the truth until it is delivered
to the rightful ears. In fact, we need to embrace these failures as women because it is through
them that we can say - 'God did'. The Samaritan woman said, “come and see a man who told
me things that I did. Could this be the Christ?” He is not ignorant of the mistakes of the
woman but sees pass them – beauty in ashes, a diamond in the rough. But the world makes
people see themselves as the ashes or the rough, making it difficult to accept a call to ministry

Covid-19
I've got tea, very valuable tea. Through
research and help from several
professionals in the industry, I have
after
brought you the impacts Covid- 19
could possibly have on the fashion
industry.
Elena Rostunova
If there is one thing that is pretty clear during this time,
it's that our planet has been crying out for help and
designers and consumers have started listening.
Carbon emission has reduced by 25% in China since
the virus. "This is the only moment in history where we
can measure the amount of damage we've done" -
Stella McCartney. After this pandemic, designers and
retailers plan to reduce production. "We will be
creating less and better" says Marc Jacobs
Let's talk trends, almost all autumn/winter shows have
been cancelled meaning the fall/winter trends from
last year and spring/summer 2020 are going to have to
hold us through the rest of the year. So that neon
sweater you still have from last year? Still a trend now.
Couture fashion and the high-end sector might be the
hardest hit by this crisis. Almost all major red carpet
events, weddings and dances have been cancelled.
Why buy a fancy dress if you have nowhere to wear it?
This has led many couture designers to consider
branching into ready to wear and put remaining stock
on major discounts.
Speaking of major discounts, you might want to hold
on to your wallets because fast fashion might just give
us the biggest sales of our lives after this season!
Retail stores need to pay their employees and
liabilities. In order to do that, stock needs to be
cleared out quickly. Only essentials and lounge wear
will be brought in as new stock which, I should warn
you, might be expensive. For all fashion students, the
industry will need all the help it can get so they might
be taking interns [with no pay].
If we do not look back in history, is it really a
prediction? I did research on how the human race
recovered from the Spanish flu, world wars and
recession. You will love what I found. After world war I
and Spanish flu came The Great Gatsby era. After
world war II came the rock and roll era. After the 60s
Vietnam war came the Woodstock festival and hippie
era.
Even after the great depression, the human race still
recovered stronger than before so do not fear, this is
just the beginning of a new era.

REJECTING
PAIN
...
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against
such there is no law. And those who are
Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its
passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit. – Galatians
5:22-25
Pain is a response to the desires of the flesh. It gives
birth to anger, envy, deceit, jealousy, strife, pride and
hatred. Guard your heart for out of it flows matters of
life. But God has promised that if we lay all unto Him,
the peace of God which surpasses all understanding
shall guard our hearts. How can in one heart be the
dwelling and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as well as a
house of pain. How can joy and anger flow from one
space. How can peace, envy and jealousy flow from
one space. How can kindness and hatred flow from
one space.
Unforgiveness is a child birthed by a painful
experience designed to eat up one's life like a plague.
It is a silent disease that manifests itself as the fruit of
the flesh. Who are we not to forgive others when we
continue to sin while Christ carried all our sins.
When the Father forgave and washed us with the
blood and does daily. We have all sinned and fallen
short of the glory of God. Only Christ was found to be
without fault. Unforgiveness is judging others and
self-exaltation. 777 times shall one forgive his
brother. Col 3:22-23 Therefore, as the elect of God,
holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness,
humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one
another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a
complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you,
so you also must do. There is no room to carry a
grudge in the word of God. It only instructs us to
forgive. Why carry wounds when Jesus took 39 of
them so we would need not to, but instead be healed
of everything. Carrying wounds is like rejecting the
healing already given to us by Christ.
Pain is to be rejected for Christ has already made a
mockery of it on the cross. Let it not make a mockery
of you instead. Christ endured it all that we may be
free from it all. He carried the cross and bore it all so
that we do not have to bear anything, but through Him
conquer it all. If we fail to forgive and let go of pain
and resentment, we are ignorantly giving birth to the
bitterness of soul which will eat us up slowly as cancer
eating through the bone
