FITT Resources Mangrove Creek Dam NSW Concrete Repairs
FITT Resources recently completed a series of repair works on the Mangrove Creek Dam in NSW, on behalf of the Central Coast Council. The scope of works, which were completed between October 2019 and April 2020, included a series of joint repairs on the spillway chute wall, along with repairs to the slab floor, plus concrete repairs to cracks in the spillway wall, the dam face joint, and the interface between the dam wall and the toe slab.

Spillway Chute Floor Slab Repair
• 4 joints of varying length
(Avg 15 Lm per joint) to be
repaired
• Concrete cutting 1 m on
either side of the joint upto
avg. depth of 125 mm
• Expose and treat corroded
reo bars with anti-corrosive
coating
• Install SL 81 Mesh and
Anchor bars
• Pour 5 mm aggr. Concrete
upto slab level
