FITT Resources Mangrove Creek Dam NSW Concrete Repairs
FITT Resources recently completed a series of repair works on the Mangrove Creek Dam in NSW, on behalf of the Central Coast Council. The scope of works, which were completed between October 2019 and April 2020, included a series of joint repairs on the spillway chute wall, along with repairs to the slab floor, plus concrete repairs to cracks in the spillway wall, the dam face joint, and the interface between the dam wall and the toe slab.

Spillway Chute Wall Joint Repair
• Replacement of all joint filler on all
vertical movement joints in the
eastern and western walls of the
spillway
• Water and grit blast to remove all
existing materials and shall be
made thoroughly dry, clean and
frost free.
• Expand foam Closed Cell shall be
push fitted back into the joint.
• Apply Parchem Emer Seal 200
sealant firmly into the joint.
• 6 joints of approx. 10 m height
• 20 joints of approx. 6 m height
• 16 joints of approx. 3.8 m height
