Is there anything new and exciting going on with weddings at Callaway
Resort & Gardens? What services do you provide? We have onsite experts
to help with booking, setup, and menu planning, and we also partner
with an in-house Audio/Visual company that can assist you with everything
from microphones and speakers to televisions for slideshows. On your big
day, we’ll have a team to help you, including a dedicated banquet captain
who will oversee your food service and a wedding manager who will be on
hand. We also have a list of preferred wedding planners for your consideration
– they can assist you with every detail from full event design to
day-of coordination.
How are couples able to customize their weddings at
Callaway Resort & Gardens? Each wedding at Callaway
can be tailored to suit the tastes and personalities of the
brides and grooms themselves. Our venues allow for a lot of
options when it comes to ambience, and menus can be customized
any way you see fit – from casual buffets to sumptuous sit-down
meals. Our chefs can create everything from traditional cuisine to modern,
eclectic fare. Pre- and post-wedding events are all available as well, from
fun welcome parties and farewell brunches, to formal rehearsal dinners and
bridal teas. Even special group gatherings at our resort attractions – we can
make it all happen.
Do you have a preferred or exclusive vendor list? We do have a list of
preferred vendors – many of whom come from the Columbus or Atlanta
area. We know how important it is to work with knowledgeable, trusted
vendors, so we help couples narrow down their options by doing a little
legwork for them. Because our property is so large, we think it’s especially
important to work with photographers that know the lay of the land. By
working with someone familiar with the grounds, couples can be sure
to get the best shots in an efficient way that doesn’t intrude on the day’s
celebrations.
What types of activities are provided at Callaway Resort & Gardens?
What's nearby? With so much breathtaking acreage, there’s plenty do to!
Wedding guests can use their free time to explore the gardens on foot or by
bike – we have over ten miles of nature trails. Spa treatments, golf outings,
tennis matches – even zip-lining adventures can be planned in advance.
You and your guests can also enjoy our Birds of Prey Show or relax in your
favorite way – fishing, boating, swimming, or even just sunbathing by the
lake or pool. What’s great is you never have to leave the Callaway grounds
to enjoy any of it.
What spaces are available for the ceremony and reception? We have
eight beautiful venues scattered across our property, each one with its own
distinctive feel, so there’s truly something for every taste. Intimate weddings
feel right at home in the legendary Ida Cason Callaway Memorial
Chapel, an enchanting chapel tucked in in the woods, while larger gatherings
enjoy the lake views from the Longleaf Lawn. The Longleaf Ballroom
offers a traditionally festive atmosphere, and the Discovery Center’s airy,
loft-like design brings modern elegance to any event. The Gardens Restaurant
creates a warm and inviting ambience for smaller gatherings, and
the Ski Pavilion is a blank slate with lake views that are nothing short of
