Chapter Three<br />

<strong>The</strong> Saving Solution vs. Satan's Snare<br />

Separated from his Creator and the magnificent<br />

position he was intended to enjoy, Adam's mind<br />

became darkened and ignorant (Ephesians 4:17-19).<br />

Be<strong>for</strong>e the Fall, his mind had been an extraordinary<br />

example of reasoning and wisdom. However,<br />

after the Fall, Adam's mind was filled with vain<br />

imaginations and limited by a lack of intimate<br />

communication with God.<br />

Notice how Satan snared Eve. He told her,<br />

"For God knows that in the day you<br />

eat from it your eyes will be opened, and<br />

you will be like God, knowing good and<br />

evil" (Genesis 3:5).<br />

questioned God's truthfulness,<br />

implying that Eve could have greater significance<br />
