(Salesforce Iberia), and Giorgio Semenzato
(Finizens), to exchange their opinions on
the solutions that AI can bring to banking
and the challenges that this adoption can
bring about.

Manuel Carro, director of the IMDEA Software Institute, contributed to the Spanish podcast “1BIT de
memoria”, focused on the life and achievements of great computer scientists, specifically Turing award
recipients. On this occasion, the podcast focused on Leslie Lamport, widely known for his contributions
to concurrent and distributed systems, verification, and for being the creator of LaTeX, one of the systems
for document preparation most widely used in scientific and technical environments.
