and colours deep red, deep orange, light
orange and yellow to match. To create
something so unique it will turn heads and
very importantly still compliment the already
unique and striking design of the bike itself.
After a few weeks of playing
around. the Woodstock Moto Co
Vitpilen 701 was born.
The goal was to keep it as close to the
render. Respray the tank and add some
other details to it.
Devin got in contact with a local cape
town painter, Ameer Jacobs, who did an
impressive job getting it spot on to the
render. The main colour was a matt black,
to match the rest of the bike and the silver
chosen to be very close to the original
Vitpilen colour.
Other than the spray job on the tank, the
wheels were changed, rim decals designed
to tie in with the spoke rims and tank
design, akrapovic slip on exhaust added,
and a passenger foot peg delete kit and tail
tidy done.
And there it was, a bike that looked like
something you can take to a track day,
striking enough to take to a bike show and
fun and easy to ride every day.
This WMC Vitpilen 701 has inspired other
paint customization projects and I hope to
see even more.
