A Story of
True Passion
& Family Success
Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen was established in 1963 by goldsmith
Ole Lynggaard, who after having studied and worked in Germany,
Paris, New York and San Francisco, came back to Denmark and
bought a small workshop. Charlotte Lynggaard, his daughter, who
is a goldsmith and designer like her father, joined the company in
1992. Søren, his son, assumed management in 2003 and Michel
Normann, Charlotte´s husband, became commercial director in
2006. The brand has emerged as the premier jewellery company
in Denmark and was appointed Purveyor of The Royal Danish
Court in 2008. The Royal Warrant indicates Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen’s
superior performance in the Scandinavian jewellery
market.
The family-run house has a solid and well-established reputation
as a luxury brand, not only throughout Scandinavia, but also in
many other parts of the world. “Our idea to design personalised
and flexible jewellery that uses only the highest quality of metals
and gemstones has manifested in a wide range of collections
which we have launched in the past 50 years,” tells Goldsmith and
Jewellery Designer Charlotte Lynggaard.
The designers Charlotte and Ole each have their own unique
style, which adds an extra dimension to the collections. Most Ole
Lynggaard Copenhagen jewellery is produced at the company´s
studio north of Copenhagen. With more than 40 goldsmiths working
in the studio, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is one of Northern
Europe’s biggest jewellery houses. This allows Charlotte and Ole
to work closely with their highly skilled staff in hand-crafting
their unique designs. The family business and its entire staff are
dedicated to the company´s high standards of quality and design.
With almost 50 years of experience, the aim is still to design jewellery
that last. Therefore the elegant, timeless jewellery from Ole
Lynggaard Copenhagen are passed on as cherished heirlooms
from generation to generation.
Today, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is one of the worlds few fine
jewellery brands where true craftsmanship is preserved in Denmark.
