FUNDRAISINGWe hosted an online general knowledge quiz onThursday, 27 August 2020 at 18:30. The funds raised willbe used to continue assisting our members afflicted withmuscular dystrophy. Based on the support received, ourgoal is to make this a monthly event.The quiz is conducted via Whatsapp where the questionswill be asked with a voice note and the typed answerssent by the team captain at the end of each round. Thequiz consists of fi ve categories with 10 questions percategory. The duration of the quiz is approximately 1hour.The cost to enter a team is R50.00, with a maximum offi ve people per team. Participants must choose a teamname and will be added to a Whatsapp group once proofof payment is received. Winners will be announced onour Facebook page.Save the date and join us for a fun-fi lled evening whilesupporting a worthy cause.VIRTUALSCAVENGER HUNTCalling all adults and children for an exciting virtual Scavenger Hunt (date to be announced).The cost to participate is only R20.00 per team, and there is no limit to the number of people ina team. Letters from the alphabet will be drawn out of a hat, and participants must search theirhomes for all items starting with each respective letter within an allocated time. The team mustshow how many items they managed to find, and the team with the highest number of itemsoverall will be the winner.There will be 10 rounds of five minutes each.
