Seeing how excited his furry friends were, gave “JB”
an idea. He would teach and train Spot and Brodie
to ride with him on the paddleboard.
“JB” thought paddleboarding was easier and safer
to learn than surfing and he visioned they could go
on some great adventures together.
Spot and Brodie jumped and barked with delight
when “JB” told them both his idea. It was just what
they imagined, and they could not wait for the
adventures to begin.
“JB” loaded Spot and Brodie in his van and off they
went for their first paddleboard lesson around the
calm waters of Sunset Island.

JB’s Journal
No water to paddle nearby the Pyramids. We were able to hire a
Camel from his owner Amen to pull us over the rocks near the
Pyramids. It took 20 years to build the Great pyramid of Giza. It was the
tallest man-made structure in the world for about 3,800 years.
The Pyramids required 2.5 million stone blocks to be cut, moved and
positioned. After a long day climbing the pyramids we were very thirsty
and spent the night in a tent outside the pyramid. Spot spotted a large
Cobra snake. It scared us all, but luckily the snake did not enter our
tent. We drank lots of water under the Hot Egyptian sun to stay
hydrated.

Back in the USA we were invited to be in the Pasadena Tournament
of Roses Parade. This was a huge honor! The parade was started
in 1890 and included music, performers and elaborate floats. We
made it over the 5 mile route thanks to the skateboard wheels I
was able to mount under the paddleboard decorated with flowers.
Spot and Brodie barked kindly to the thousands of people who
waved to us as we paddled the parade route. The 2 hour paddle
was tiring but we had a great time and were treated to a wonderful
lunch at the end of parade and met lots of fun people from around
the world.
