CJ AND LEVI ‐ NEW ZEALAND VOLLEYBALL REPRESENTATIVES
It was a great tournament and the best opportunity, the vibe that you got from everyone there was just positive and
made you really want to be there! Being the only New Zealand team over there beside our girls’ team and U21 Mens
meant there were a lot of Australian teams wanting to beat us. We ended up with a lot of respect from not only the
male but also female teams from how we played ‐ and that was real good motivation.
I think this is the best opportunity I have had in my life. I never thought I would make a NZ team when I first started
three years ago but I did so anything is possible if you want it enough.
'Take every opportunity as it comes'.
Levi Walters CJ Wyatt
CJ Wyatt and Levi Walters have just returned from Australia where they represented their country in the Australian
State Champs and then in a Trans‐Tasman tournament. CJ in the U17 and Levi in the U19 Men's teams. Kane
Turketo also qualified as a non‐travelling reserve for the U17s. We would just like to congratulate these boys ‐all
their hard work at training has surely paid off. Look forward to seeing their progress next year.
