From September, The Bell in Ticehurst is teaming
up with Sussex’ premier creative course specialists,
Curious House, to run a series of one and two
day courses. The first course, from Monday 21 to
Tuesday 22 September, combines a picturesque walk

Green and Pleasant
Nostalgic for home after travelling Europe,
Andrew Lansley returned to the UK to paint the
“green rolling hills of home,” with new appreciation of
them as “a symbol of comfort and contentment.” His
solo exhibition, Green and Pleasant Lands, opens at
McAllister Thomas Fine Art of Godalming on Saturday

FOREST LISTENING
A real breath of fresh air. In collaboration with Watts
Gallery Trust, Surrey Hills Arts presents the Forest Listening
project by artist Liz K Miller. Wander through Limnerslease
woodland to hear the hidden sounds of a rainstorm recorded
from beneath the forest floor and see a display of blueprints
hanging from the trees, each one a visualisation of the forest
rainstorm sounds. It’s free with admission to Watts Gallery
Artists Village and will run from Monday 7 September to
