Curious House, to run a series of one and two<br />
day courses. The first course, from Monday 21 to<br />
Tuesday 22 <strong>Sept</strong>ember, combines a picturesque walk<br />

Green and Pleasant<br />
Nostalgic for home after travelling Europe,<br />
Andrew Lansley returned to the UK to paint the<br />
“green rolling hills of home,” with new appreciation of<br />
them as “a symbol of comfort and contentment.” His<br />
solo exhibition, Green and Pleasant Lands, opens at<br />
McAllister Thomas Fine Art of Godalming on Saturday<br />

FOREST LISTENING<br />
A real breath of fresh air. In collaboration with Watts<br />
Gallery Trust, <strong>Surrey</strong> Hills Arts presents the Forest Listening<br />
project by artist Liz K Miller. Wander through Limnerslease<br />
woodland to hear the hidden sounds of a rainstorm recorded<br />
from beneath the forest floor and see a display of blueprints<br />
hanging from the trees, each one a visualisation of the forest<br />
rainstorm sounds. It’s free with admission to Watts Gallery<br />
Artists Village and will run from Monday 7 <strong>Sept</strong>ember to<br />
