UAS Student Alumni Association
The Student Alumni Association was established at UAS in fall 2003 as a chapter
of the UAS Alumni Association to promote pride and tradition on campus. The
program supports expanded UASAA opportunities on campus.
Entry to alumni and SAA events, including dinner and a movie, a Superbowl party and an etiquette
dinner, is included in the $15 annual membership fee. The Preparing for Life After College lecture series
provides opportunities for students to learn valuable life skills. Student Alumni members also give back to
the community by participating in community volunteer days, and have provided financial assistance with
campus projects.
The group strives to make the student experience at UAS more meaningful through the promotion of UAS
pride and tradition, cultivation of relationships between students and alumni, and enhancement of the
college experience through exciting, memorable events.
The student alumni group’s goals tie directly to UAS Alumni Association’s mission statement, which is to
serve as a vital connection between the alumni and the university, communicate and advocate the goals
and programs of UAS, and foster a continuous sense of community by establishing relationships and
networking among alumni.
