Overall responsible for Budgeting, Planning & Reporting, Purchasing, Strategy, Risk
Management, IT, Logistics, Raw materials, Metrology, LEAN, Environment, and Health & Safety
for Novo Nordisk Diabetes API Production.
Leading an organisation with more than 80 people and reporting to the Senior Vice President
(SVP) for Novo Nordisk Diabetes API Production.
Novo Nordisk Diabetes API Production is responsible for producing all Novo Nordisk insulin API
(active pharmaceutical ingredients), i.e. half of the world’s total use of insulin. Diabetes API
has 1600 employees and the world’s largest insulin manufacturing plant.
