The Pendix eDrive is an extremely robust midmounted 

motor. As it works without a gearbox, 

there is no mechanical wear, which guarantees an 

absolutely reliable and maintenance-free motorsupport. 

The Pendix eDrive convinces not only by its robustnessbut 

also by its smart technology. 

The drive system can be connected to the Pendix. 

bike PRO App via Bluetooth, which can be used to 

carry out updates, error readout and fine tuning.

The ERZMO®MS 1 is a powerful mid-engine, specially 

developed for cargo bikes. Thanks to its hightorque 

and performance characteristics, cargobikes 

with a total mass up to 300 kg can be easily 

moved. 

The starting and pushing aid allows even large 

loads to be easily set in motion. The drive has been 

designed for the demanding industrial sector and 

contains powerful electronics which take over the 

control. The electrical assistance can be added 

continuously during the drive with the help of the 

accelerator handle.

PENDIX eDRIVE IN/ INs 

Power transmission from the rider to the wheel is becoming increasingly complex in modern cargo bikes and 

other novel micro-mobility vehicles. Therefore, the Pendix eDrive IN is not only offered as a version for mechanical 

drive trains, such as the chain or belt drive, but also as the innovative serial hybrid variant Pendix eDrive 

INs. Below you can compare the advantages of both versions. 

Serial hybrid version 

At the pedal crank, a generator takes the energy generated 

by the rider and transmits it to one or more rear motors 

via electric lines. The proven Pendix mid-mounted 

motor, which has been further developed for this purpose, 

is used as a generator. This combination has created 

a reliable, powerful and coherent overall package 

that minimizes wear and tear and the amount of maintenance 

required on the vehicle. 

Mechanical drive version 

At the pedal crank, a generator takes the energy generated 

by the rider and transmits it to one or more rear motors 

via electric lines. The proven Pendix mid-mounted motor,
