How have Wells Reclamation been during lockdown?<br />
We’ve been so busy. Our website allowed us to continue with<br />
online deliveries and click and collect. And since retail has<br />
reopened we’ve been flat out.<br />
You and the team have been rather busy this summer?<br />
We’ve been extremely busy. Especially since people have<br />
been able to travel. Lots of tourists and a steady flow of local<br />
customers – both new and existing. With people on furlough,<br />
they’ve had time to spend improving their homes and gardens.<br />
What’s been popular?<br />
Natural stone flooring, garden statues, freestanding kitchens,<br />
vintage furniture and reclaimed building materials.<br />
Retro is still very popular don’t you find?<br />
Yes, the mid-century retro look is still popular but we find genuine<br />
antique furniture is increasingly sought-after. Especially with<br />
younger people wanting a quality unique piece of furniture.<br />
What makes Wells Reclamation so unique?<br />
Our enormous range of products is a big draw for people.<br />
They can find genuine architectural salvage next to authentic<br />
reproduction pieces. We have a quick turn over of vintage and<br />
antique furniture which means there is always something new to<br />
look at. And our natural stone and timber flooring is available in<br />
large quantities for immediate delivery. Our freestanding kitchens<br />
are the same – available for quick delivery, and at great prices.<br />
