YOUTH<br />

Socio-cultural activities<br />

Socio-cultural activities take on several forms, as our Chapters choose to reflect the interests of<br />

their members and communities. All of the activities provide engaging, interactive programming<br />

in French that offer insight into arts, culture, film and daily living in a French context.<br />

From Francophone musicians to Family Game Nights, here is a snapshot of the fun!<br />

This year, all of the larger scale bookings of Francophone artists<br />

in school settings were cancelled due to the teacher labour<br />

dispute. All extra-curricular support from educational staff was<br />

curtailed. The overall youth participation numbers are lower<br />

than last year, although many smaller, local activities took place.<br />
