Socio-cultural activities
Socio-cultural activities take on several forms, as our Chapters choose to reflect the interests of
their members and communities. All of the activities provide engaging, interactive programming
in French that offer insight into arts, culture, film and daily living in a French context.
From Francophone musicians to Family Game Nights, here is a snapshot of the fun!
14 socio-cultural activities

West, Toronto West, North
Wellington, and Vaughan).
Activities include interactive
performances by Duffle

Days, Franco Fun Day, skate
parties, film festivals, craft
night in French, cooking
classes in French.
This year, all of the larger scale bookings of Francophone artists
in school settings were cancelled due to the teacher labour
dispute. All extra-curricular support from educational staff was
curtailed. The overall youth participation numbers are lower
than last year, although many smaller, local activities took place.
