Prison, a Vast Mission FieldAs we near the end of the third quarter in 2020, Covid-19 continues to have a dramatic impact on our prisonsystems across America and around the globe. According to a report from the Business Insider, Covid-19 is having adevastating effect, ravaging jails and prisons throughout the United States. Between March and September, the virus hastaken the lives of more than have been executed in America during the last 20 years. At the state level there have beenmore than 114,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases among prisoners and over 1,000 confirmed deaths, and more than 25,000officers tested positive resulting in 72 deaths among officers and prison staff.
