for 2023 is Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus

despising the shame, and is set down at the right
hand of the throne of God.
Our generation is weighted down with numerous
cares and many besetting sins. However, we are
commanded in Hebrews 12:1 to lay aside every
weight and the sin that doth so easily beset us.
We can live a victorious life by "Looking unto
Jesus," which is essential to everyone seeking
strength, guidance, courage, and purpose. Jesus
is our perfect example of these things. He has
left us the Inspired, Inerrant, Immutable Word of
God, the Bible, to teach us how to live and the
guidance we need.
When we look unto Jesus, we are reminded of
His sacrificial love for us on Calvary, His salvation
available to all, and His promises that never
fail. We are also reminded of the importance of
putting God first and "Looking unto Jesus" in all
life's circumstances.
Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus said unto him, Thou
shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the
first and great commandment.
In times of trouble, "Looking Unto Jesus" can
bring us peace and comfort as we remember His
promise never to leave us or forsake us. When we
face challenges or uncertainties we can trust in
Jesus' wisdom and guidance to show us the way
forward.
Turbulent winds of adversity are blowing
throughout the world and across America. The
winds of opposition toward the church, the Bible,
and Christians are gathering strength. But I rejoice
at the promise of God in 1 John 4:4 “…greater is
he that is in you than he that is in the world”.
Let us keep "Looking unto Jesus," fixing our eyes
upon Him, and following in His footsteps.

Foreign Field:
“Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.”
Ecclesiastes 5:9
This May, the Rock of Ages will begin
its 32 nd year reaching government
facilities on the foreign field. From a
single prison in Timisoara, Romania, to now working
with government facilities in over 30 countries to
date, the ministry has a presence on 6 continents.
Thanks to our faithful supporters, through generous
giving, volunteering and praying, our missionary
families and foreign partners are able to labor in
their fields. Here are just a few updates from the
field.
“Since our Scripture container arrived, we supplied
Ukrainian churches, pastors, and ministries with
about 25,000 New Testaments! Monthly we visit our
friends across the border and help them as their
nation fights for their right to exist. I was invited
to preach at a church in the Subcarpathia territory
and three precious people were saved. Two people,
a Ukrainian soldier, and an ethnic Hungarian lady
came forward at the end of the service and publicly
asked Jesus to save them! Praise the Lord, so far this
year we have conducted 17 meetings in the prisons
of Hungary.” Rock of Ages Missionary to Hungary,

“There is no greater joy in knowing that the Gospel
of God’s Grace works to change lives. For years I
have preached the Word of God in and out of prisons
and I have witnessed the transformation of lives due
to the impact that the Gospel has had on people’s
lives. We recently received word from a pastor who
welcomed a family in to his church. The woman had
been reached in prison through our ministry, and
now the entire family is serving in a local Baptist

“We have a total of 108 pastors and laymen from
ninety churches in Kenya involved with the school
ministry on a regular monthly basis. Currently, Kenya,
Uganda, Nigeria, and Ghana are very active with the
school ministry. Totally in Africa, we are working
with 169 pastors and laymen from 149 churches that
are working in 498 schools. There are other countries
in Africa that are wanting the school ministry to
start. Much prayer is needed before any work can
be established. Currently, we are praying over and
waiting upon the Lord regarding five other African

Everyday, from places around the world, we
receive reports from our missionaries and national
partners of someone that has been ‘Born Again
into the family of God’. Thank you again for being
a part of this great ministry.

After being involved in prison ministry for
37 years, and saved for 49, it is easier to
see that our life is like a vapor and will soon
pass. I have been involved in ministry since I was
7, where my dad pastored when I first became
our church pianist. I love ministry and the life I
live. However, if I were honest, I have one genuine
concern: that the Lord would return, and my family
and friends would still not have trusted Christ as
their Savior. I am sure you also have loved ones
and family members who need to be saved. May
each of us realize the harvest is white already to
harvest, and we must gather souls quickly. John
9:4 "I must work the works of him that sent me,
while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can
work." May we do all we can for Christ while we
can!
Our Lovely Ladies ministry is growing weekly.
We have several one-day chapel services teaching
our Character Building Concepts, we are hosting
Bible classes, and you can find us holding a weekly
Bible Study for Women via Zoom meetings every
Thursday at 8:00 PM. Each week many ladies
come to know the Lord as their Saviour, to which
we are thankful for every person who asks Christ
into their heart. What a privilege that God allows
each of us to be ambassadors for Christ and take
the gospel to regions beyond. Many desire to
be a witness in prisons, but the doors are often
closed to them. It is truly a miracle how the Lord
gives Rock of Ages favor with the wardens in city,
state, and federal facilities, allowing our ministry
to take the gospel to a "world" within our world.
We desire to reach women, see them saved, and
turn their lives around. Unfortunately, some people
do not seriously consider their life until they hit
bottom. But, when they do, they are often willing
to consider their ways and turn to the Lord.
We have distributed over 5000 Bibles in the past
few months, seeing over 150 trust Christ as their
Savior. One lady who Trusted Christ in our Alabama
Blitz did not know when her court day would be.
Two officers woke her the next morning and told her
to get ready to go to court. The Lord showed her
mercy, and the judge released her that afternoon.
The next day she signed up for our Lovely Lady
Zoom Bible Class. Zoom classes are conducted
weekly, each Thursday at 8:00 PM. Recently we
taught how to lead someone to the Lord. Our next
scheduled lesson is "Breaking The Bondage of
Addiction." The ladies are working toward earning
a beautiful Pearl bracelet for attending 25 classes.

to join our courses as we study God's Word. You

We invite you to our Essential Women prayer
group, www.ewprayer.org. Essential Women is an
organized online prayer group where you can post
your prayer request anonymously if needed and
pray. Please consider joining us in praying through
the night on the 12th of every month. God is
answering prayer in a great and mighty way, as
we claim in Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me, and I
will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty
things which thou knowest not."

The Lovely Ladies Ministry is structured to reach women
prisoners and family members with the Gospel through
our “Help for the Hurting Christmas Stocking”
project. Working through local churches, we are
able to emphasize evangelism, discipleship,
character-building, and distribute Gospel
literature.

NEW ONLINE VIDEO COURSES
Through the years we have seen a need in many churches for teachers, pastors
not having enough teachers to fill their need, and pastors needing quality
materials for Sunday School, Bible Classes, shut-ins, and to offer college-level
classes in their church.
The eight courses that we now have available are only the beginning. Each course consists
of 13 – 16 lessons that will average 45 minutes each. They can be purchased and used
repeatedly in multiple classes. The courses are recorded with the instructors that have
written the materials doing the teaching.
These new video courses are easy to follow and impart knowledge from God's Word with
great clarity, detail, and interesting visual presentations. It is a great avenue to engage more
of God's people in studying His Word as it is very effective for people with limited time.
The cost of each course is $300.00 and will include all lessons pertaining to the course
purchased as detailed in the Presentation Video.
In the long run, the materials is much more cost-efficient than curriculum that has been
made available to churches in the past.
Again, our goal is to be a help to God’s people, by presenting a means or method of teaching
that will enhance their desire to learn. Resulting in a greater desire to serve.
