Traditional engines vs. Direct Injection engines
In a traditional petrol injection engine, fuel is sprayed into the intake system, where it is mixed with the air
before being sucked into the combustion chamber and ignited. This method offers far from perfect efficiency as
the fuel/air mix is not uniform. Some fuel would also evaporate before reaching the combustion chamber.
Direct injectors are located in the cylinder head and spray very finely atomised fuel directly into the
combustion chamber. This method allows for a near perfect fuel/air mixture ensuring efficient combustion,
excellent performance, lower fuel consumption and reduced exhaust emissions.
Direct Injection engines are extremely sensitive to contamination
Gasoline direct injection engines and their components are engineered to very exacting tolerances and operate
under severe conditions. Direct injection engines use smaller and lighter engines with a turbocharger but
operate at higher temperatures and pressure. They produce more NOx and particulates requiring the engine
to be equipped with EGR valves and particulate filters and the fuel system to be treated with the latest additives
technologies.

Cleaning effects:

foam formula makes fast, easy and safe
removal of hardened carbon deposits
and other contamination possible.
Usage:
• For all petrol GDI and Hybrid
• Do not apply to vehicles where the intercooler is
integrated into the inlet manifold
• If excessive knocking or backfire occurs during
treatment, pause the application and allow the
engine to idle for 3-4 minutes before
recommencing treatment. If knocking persists, the
inlet manifold may have excessive contamination
and require manual cleaning.

Usage:
• Recommended for all GDI Petrol Engines including

• Add one 500ml bottle to the vehicle fuel tank.
One bottle treats up to 60 litres of fuel.
• Regular maintenance: Add one bottle to the fuel
tank at each vehicle service and repeat every 10,000
km’s or more frequently if required.
• Best practice: It is highly recommended to clean the
intake and inlet valves with Wynn’s Direct Injection
Valve Cleaner.
• The bottle is suitable for capless fuel fillers.

APPLICATION
• Spray the product directly on the surface to be cleaned from a 20-30 cm
distance.
• Allow the product to act for 30-60 seconds, then wipe the surface with a
clean dry cloth.
• Do not allow the product to dry on surfaces, wipe for perfect finish.
• When nearby surfaces need to be avoided, it is recommended to apply the
product directly onto a cloth, then gently wipe the area to be cleaned.
• Turn off electrical items and leave to cool before cleaning.
• Always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions
• Ventilate the cabin before using the vehicle.
USAGE
• Suitable for use on all types of plastic surfaces and flat/plasma/LCD screens
(common in the new digital dashboards).
• Compatible with delicate surfaces, such as coated screens (e.g. anti-reflection
coatings)
• Effective on textile materials.
• Not recommended for regular use on leather and Alcantara fabrics.
