A FAMILY WAITING FOR EVERY CHILDIn 2012, Eric & Ashlette wanted to bring hope to the heartache ofchildren in foster care. At Project 1.27, they found the training andsupport needed for success. Over the last 8 years, they’ve fostered 29children, adopted 2 and become strong advocates for families andkids in foster care.

Using Project 1.27’s unique faithcenteredapproach that includes trauma-informed, relationshipbasedparenting strategies and guides families in developing a strongsupport network, hundreds of Christian families are changing theoutcomes for kids in foster care.Project 1.27 supports 200 Colorado kinship, foster and adoptivefamilies every year, who in turn care for over 200 vulnerable children.58% of Project 1.27 families say they likely would not have fostered oradopted without Project 1.27.
