THE 1.27 NATIONAL NETWORK BRINGSHOPE TO KIDS ACROSS THE USIn 2018, Charlotte, NC faced the stark reality of over 600 kids infoster care with one-third of them placed in homes outside oftheir county. With over 1,000 churches in Charlotte, Nicole Taylorwith Congregations for Kids was convinced the church could meetthe need. Since then they’ve served over 250 kids in foster care, inpartnership with 30 churches.
The Project 127 National Network has served asa lifeline for CFK and for me personally as a leader.To be able to connect with other like-minded organizationsand leaders to share ideas and resources, pray for eachother and encourage each other continues to be pricelessresource for us. This work is hard, heart breaking andincredibly frustrating but the Project 127 network lets meknow we are not alone.
