- NEW PROJECT 1.27 FOSTER FAMILY
PROJECT 1.27 PROVIDES FAMILIES WITH
SUPPORT AND RESOURCES THROUGH:
• Trusted Family Care Managers who provide tools, training,
resources and encouragement
• Training and resources that prepare family and friends to be
an amazing Support Team
• Support Groups for foster, adoptive and kinship families
• Engaging churches and the community in providing meals,
clothing, furniture, school supplies and more for kids in
foster care
Through Project 1.27’s launch of Care Portal in Mesa County,
caseworkers have partnered with 11 churches to keep kids and
families safe. In the first six months, 54 church volunteers served the
families of 92 children by delivering groceries, clothing, bedding,
diapers, school supplies, and helping with gas & rent money.
Project 1.27 provides opportunities for relationship and resources to
hundreds of Colorado kinship, foster, adoptive and at-risk biological
families so they can provide a safe, healing home for the children in
their care.
