If exposure at a workplace is unavoidable in spite
of all the precautionary measures, then personal
protective equipment (PPE) must be used.
Chemical-resistant protective clothing prevents
carcinogenic vapours and particles from
being absorbed through the skin. Respiratory
protection equipment (RPE) and filters protect
the lungs from carcinogens.

Half masks, e.g. Dräger X-plore® 3300/3500

3500 version for long lasting protection under tough conditions.
Dräger X-plore® 5500 and X-plore® 6300
The DrägerX-plore® 5500 and 6000 series full face masks are the
right solution for environments where not only increased respiratory
protection is required, but a clear vision is mandatory. These lowcost
full face breathing masks are intended for price-conscious
users not wishing to compromise comfort or quality. We offer
single-filter or twinfilter versions.
Dräger X-plore® Filters
The Dräger X-plore® Rd40 filter series offers various filter types
for major applications and protects against many hazardous
substances. The Dräger X-plore® Bayonet filter series offers a new
dimension of comfort and safety in respiratory protection.
Caution: As the carcinogens 1,3 butadiene, ethylene oxide
and vinyl chloride have low boiling points special respiratory
protection filters are necessary. The recommended PPE to
protect against inhalation is a half or full face mask with an
original AX-P filter, which must be disposed of post-shift.
