Artoze October - December 2020to each and every aspect of thistheme. They brought their own specialtouch of imagination, perspectiveand originality to it. The firstprize of this category was awardedto Angira Dasgupta Arinda of LoretoDay School. The second prize wasawarded to Samiksha Kamal Vermaof Saint Xaviers School. The thirdprize was once again a tie betweenKirti Avinash Phadtare of JSS InternationalSchool and Vanessa DanielaFerreira da Cruz of Pinheiro Basic andSecondary School. Our esteemedjury member Rich Mccor, is a London-basedphotographer who hasbeen described as a non-destructivevandal within the confines of acamera viewfinder. He has a grownsocial media following and has beenhired by numerous brands to bringhis unique perspective to their marketing.He left us with some insightfulgems into the world of creativity,bravery and talent.Our third jury member Maria Mishkareva,a renowned watercolourUpcoming Jury Talksartist located in Russia whose workhas left us all in total awe and admirationlent her immense support andinsight into our event. What betterthan some joyous games and activitiesto bring up the morale of kids aswell as break the ice between themand create a bond. Students faceslit up with joy as they heared ofthe planned ice breakers. We playedthe classic ‘Simon Says’ that alwaysgets the crowd moving and leavesyou with stomach-aching laughter.It was indeed a sight to behold, studentsrunning about, jumping, touchingtheir noses with their tonguesand laughing all along.As the rush settled in we beganwith our third category which wasthemed as ‘The Future I Visualize’.This was for students aged betweenfourteen to eighteen, who left usenlightened with their thoughts andvision for a better tomorrow. Theirpaintings were that which were filledwith hope, empathy, human connectionand passion. The winner ofthe first prize for this category wasVarsha Saju Nair of Delhi PrivateSchool. The second prize was givento Vaishnavi Satheeshkumar of GulfIndian High school. The third prizewas awarded to Selimaq Achour ofStar International School.The anticipation for the PublicChoice Award was growing by thesecond with almost more than3000+ appreciations. But beforethat our esteemed jury member,Dhawal Khatri who is a phenomenalartist and a unique talent inauguratedthis category. His artwork hasbeen showcased internationally andrecognized by the most renownedpeople across the globe.A game of riddles got everyonehyped up and rushing to use theirgrey cells. With answers popping infrom every viewer, a beautiful chaossettled in, a perfect gatewayfor the public choice award winnerannouncement. Cheers erupted atthe name of our award winner VanshitaAggarwal of Gems New MillenniumSchool and there was completebliss that settled in. What abeautiful way to end the evening andyet a refreshing break right beforethe school routine begins. What wesaw was hope, what we recognizedwas the small joys and pleasures oflife and what we learnt is that ourkids are truly the leaders of a bettertomorrow.
