US Air Force launched the<br />

The U.S. Air Force held an online<br />

launch of the “Agility Prime”<br />

Project from April 27th to May<br />

1st. It was originally planned<br />

to be held at the famous technology<br />

music cultural festival<br />

“Southwest” (SXSW). Due to<br />

the pandemic, the launch event<br />

AAmong the dignitaries who appeared at the launch<br />

event was the US Secretary of Transportation Elaine<br />

Chao who said that she is most concerned about the<br />

safety of the eVTOL aircraft and the acceptance of this<br />

new type of aircraft by society. Among them, safety is<br />

the most important thing. The FAA will actively formulate<br />

the eVTOL airworthiness policy.<br />

The US Air Force established the “Agility Prime” project<br />

last year aiming to unite industry and business forces<br />

At this launch event the U.S. Air Force issued a tender<br />

for three types of eVTOL aircraft prototypes:<br />
