Rio Tormes<br />
You will be well taken care of in old, Spanish rural houses<br />
where you will be served classic Spanish cuisine and wine.<br />
Spain might not be on the typical<br />
map of the destination angler.<br />
However, it has a long history in fly<br />
fishing.<br />
There are several species you can<br />
fish for: Iberian barbel aka the<br />
freshwater bonefish. Huge brown<br />
trout. Spooky sea trout and Atlantic<br />
salmon in their most southern<br />
location. Huge pike as well as black<br />
bass.<br />
The Rio Tormes offers great brown<br />
trout fishing. There is private fishing<br />
as well as public fishing available.<br />
The river itself looks a bit like an<br />
English chalk stream.<br />
<strong>Fishing</strong> can be done in reservoirs as<br />
well as gin clear (chalk) streams for<br />
trout, sea trout and salmon.<br />
