In Confinement, yet Active and Connected!
When COVID-19 hit and Beijing went
into confinement, no one would
ever have guessed it would last for so long.
While switching into e-learning mode and dealing with
the side effects of such unusual situation, our Dulwich
College Beijing community didn’t let itself down.
Students, teachers and parents alike stood strong and did
their best to keep the spirits up and help others.
Let’s take a 360〫view of the many activities that took
place besides teaching and learning at Dulwich College
Beijing!

School weekly Friday
virtual concerts, or a
friendly movie night …
on Zoom, even
connecting two
different DCI schools!
#DCIconnect - A night at the movies for 9 students from
DCB and Dulwich Pudong
An Art fundraising initiative from the Senior School Art
prefects, providing to Wuhan Pu Ren Hospital with 400
medical masks.
On the community front…
To encourage Junior School students to keep up with
their reading, Head of Junior School, Mr Daniel Nichol,
set up a bus-library. It allowed children to borrow
books without the need to come into school. And
Bookmobile was born!
A Wuhan community centre receiving 2500 medical caps
funded by Yiming S’ music album.
