GENERAL INFORMATION Reservations To make reservations visit our website at www.goodtimestravel.com or contact our office at (714) 848-1255 – Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Our office is closed on weekends and major holidays. A reservation secures your space(s) for 7 days to allow time for payment to reach our office. After 7 days, full payment (or deposit if applicable) is the only way to guarantee space (and motorcoach seating priority). Because reservations are considered confirmed when payment is received, reservations that remain unpaid after 7 days are subject to cancellation. Payment All payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa). Checks should be made payable to and mailed to 17132 Magnolia St., Fountain Valley CA, 92708-3348. Please include an itemization of the tours/departure dates you are paying for. Credit card payments may be made in person or at www.goodtimestravel.com. Balance Payments The balance of payment on most multi-day tours is due 60-90 days prior departure. An invoice for balance payments with the balance due amount and balance due date will be mailed to you. Travel Documents Travel documents for multi-day tours will be in your possession approximately 14 days prior to departure, providing full payment has been received. Documents include an itinerary with hotel and flight (if applicable) details, and luggage tag. Cancellations & Travel Protection If Good Times Travel must reschedule a tour you will be notified by our office as soon as possible Good Times Travel cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs/fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Good Times Travel. If you must cancel, notify our office in writing as soon as you know you must cancel. At that time we will assume that you and/or your party will not be present on the tour and we can therefore, no longer guarantee your space(s) on the tour, nor your seating priority. We realize that illness and other reasons arise that may make it impossible for you to travel. For this reason, a travel protection policy (which includes cancellation insurance) through a third party is available and it’s highly recommended that you purchase this at the same time you make your initial tour payment. Those who have purchased travel protection and must cancel for a covered reason, will be reimbursed by the travel protection company the balance of any non-refunded funds (minus the travel protection premium). Visit our website or ask for a travel protection brochure for details. Regardless of the reason, cancellations, credits, and transfers of confirmed bookings result in a costly process of e-mails, letters, phone calls, adjustments, refunds, and penalties/fees assessed by our travel suppliers. Therefore, the below cancellation policies and fees are in place. Note that the below fees are per person and apply if you choose NOT to purchase travel protection or if you cancel for a non-covered reason. Single-Day Tour Cancellations -If you cancel 30 or more days prior to the departure date, you may receive a credit minus a $10 p.p. administrative fee* or a refund minus a $25 p.p. administrative fee.* -If you cancel within 30 days of departure, you may receive a credit (minus $10 p.p.*) or a refund (minus $25 p.p.*) ONLY if your space can be resold from a waitlist. *In addition to the administrative fee, all non-recoverable or non-transferable fees made to our suppliers on your behalf (for tickets, etc.) will be retained. -Refund provisions vary from tour to tour and there are exceptions to the above policy and some tours (including those tours involving theatre tickets or high-security access) may have different or additional restrictions. -Please allow 4 weeks after the tour has departed to receive a single-day tour refund. Multi-Day Tour Cancellations -If you cancel prior to our established balance payment deadline (generally 60-90 days depending on the tour) you may receive a credit minus a $50 p.p. administrative fee* or a refund minus a $75 p.p. administrative fee*. -If you cancel after our established balance payment deadline (generally 60-90 days depending on the tour) you may receive a credit (minus $75 p.p.*) or a refund (minus $125 p.p.*). -If you cancel within 30 days of departure, you may receive a credit (minus $150 p.p.*) or a refund (minus $250 p.p.*) ONLY if your space can be resold from a waitlist. -If you cancel within 15 days of departure, you may receive a credit (minus $250 p.p.*) or a refund (minus $500 p.p.*) ONLY if your space can be resold from a waitlist. *In addition to the administrative fee, all non-recoverable or non-transferable fees made to our suppliers on your behalf (for airfare, tickets, lodging, services, etc.) will be retained. -Refund provisions vary from tour to tour and there are exceptions to the above policy and some tours (including international tours and national park tours) may have different or additional restrictions. -Reservations made after our established balance payment deadline has passed must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. -Please allow 4-8 weeks after the tour has departed to receive a multi-day tour refund. Additional Notes About Cancellations -Credit does not expire and may be left on your account for future use or immediately transferred to another tour. -No credits or refunds are available for failure to board the motorcoach on the day of departure – regardless of the reason. -No credits or refunds are available for unused tours, admissions, transfers, or accommodations when voluntarily cancelled or omitted by the passenger, or for missed package features due to airline or other third-party-transportation providers’ delays or for other acts beyond our control. -All cancellation policies and fees for any tour within this catalog are in effect as of the publication date and supersede any other previously printed policies. Cruise Cancellation Policy Refer to the cruise company’s documentation as each company’s policy differs. Revision Fees A handling fee of $25 per person may be charged for any alterations or revisions to multi-day tour bookings. Spelling corrections to clients’ names after air tickets have been issued will be subject to airline revision fees. Price Changes Good Times Travel reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. Tour and cruise prices are based on costs, charges, tariffs, rates, prices, taxes, levies and exchange rates as of June, 2024. Should any of these prices change, Good Times Travel reserves the right to recover these from you. Included in Package Price See each specific package description for inclusions. Generally all tour prices include the services of a tour director for the duration of the tour, services of the driver, all sightseeing, land transportation, luggage handling of one piece of luggage, and the following if applicable and specified in the package description: hotel accommodations, roundtrip airport-hotel transfers (with the purchase of group airfare), local guides, meals, admissions, and tips for bellmen and meals included in the itinerary. Cruise Host services are dependent on the number of participants. Not Included in Package Price Airfare (if applicable and unless otherwise noted), air-related taxes and baggage fees, travel protection/cancellation insurance, home to airport transfers, meals not in the itinerary, tips for meals not in the itinerary, passport and visa fees, personal expenses, excess baggage handling, optional excursions, and tips to tour directors, local guides, motorcoach drivers and maid service. The price does not include any expenses if you leave the tour at your own volition, due to illness, or due to any event beyond our control. Further, should inclement weather and other conditions beyond our control prevent or delay departure of a scheduled airplane, ship, boat, train, or motorcoach and additional hotel nights or other expenses are incurred, all additional costs are solely your responsibility. 14 | General Information Accommodations Prices are per person and double prices are based on two guests sharing a room with two beds. Triple/quad occupancy (when available) is based on three/four guests sharing existing bedding arrangements; rollaway beds are not necessarily included in triple/quad prices. Special room requests such as adjacent, connecting, view, near elevator, or lower-level must be made at time of deposit and are subject to additional charges and cannot be guaranteed. Hotels listed in the itineraries are intended to be used, however from time to time alternate similar hotels may be used. Single Accommodations A single supplement exists for single guests simply because the price of hotel/cruise rooms is paid solely by the single guest rather than being divided by two guests (as is the case for double occupancy). Since hotels and cruise ships limit the number of single rooms, singles should deposit early. Paying a single supplement does not imply two seats on the motorcoach. Gratuities Gratuities to the tour director, driver and step-on/local guides are considered customary and recognized in the industry as an appreciation for a job well done. Good Times Travel does not include these gratuities in your tour cost because we choose to allow each passenger to decide what the appropriate tip amount is and we feel it serves as motivation for your tour director and driver to exceed your expectations. All tips should be offered on a voluntary and individual basis only. Suggested tipping amounts per passenger/per day are $5-$8 for single-day tours and $6-10 for multi-day tours. Airport Transfers Optional roundtrip airport transfers are available from most of our departure points for an additional $99 per person. Home private pick-ups are also available for an additional charge with the price dependent on the distance. Transfers are only available on the tour departure and return dates. Restrictions apply. Real ID, Passports & Visas Beginning May 7, 2025, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license (marked with a star at the top of the card), state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or a passport to fly within the United States. For all international tours and cruises, each traveler must have a valid passport and possibly a visa, if required. Expiration date of passports should be at least 6 months after the return date. Luggage Luggage handling of one piece of luggage (not exceeding 50 pounds) is included in the multi-day tour price. Airlines may also impose fees on luggage, which the passenger is responsible for. One piece of carry-on luggage and one personal item per person (both which you must carry and fit beneath your feet on the coach or in the overhead compartment) are allowed. For space reasons, wheeled luggage is not suitable as carry-on luggage on motorcoaches. A fee of $10 per hotel will be collected if a second bag is stored in the luggage bay. Insurance is recommended to cover possible damage to luggage. Seating Assignments On all tours, seating on the motorcoach is based on a priority system in which priority is given to the order that payment is received. All multi-day tours are subject to a daily seat rotation. Requests for seating (aboard motorcoaches, trains or airplanes) cannot be guaranteed and some requests cannot be accepted. Health & Disability Guests must notify us in advance of any physical or mental illness, disability or other conditions for which special accommodations are necessary. Also we must be notified of any medical treatment that may render the guest unfit for travel or constitute a risk or danger to the passenger or anyone else on board. Guests needing any form of assistance and those who are physically disabled must be accompanied by someone who will take full responsibility for any needed assistance during the tour and in the event of an emergency. Good Times Travel cannot provide special individual assistance to tour members with special needs for walking, dining or other routine activities. We reserve the right to refuse passage to anyone who, in our sole opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other passengers. Guests requiring a wheelchair must provide their own collapsible wheelchair. Please be aware that some hotels, attractions and areas may have certain physical conditions that may limit the accessibility of wheelchair guests. Tour Membership Good Times Travel reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a guest and to expel from the tour (single-day or multi-day) anyone whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interest of the tour group or tour director. We do not accept children under the age of 8 on any tour due to motorcoach travel laws. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 18. We do not accept any guests under the age of 21 for any casino tours. California Seller of Travel Good Times Travel, Inc. is a registered member of the State of California’s “Seller of Travel” program – CST# 2018390-40. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the state of California. Good Times is a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund. In accordance with the fund, Good Times Travel maintains a trust account into which all multi-day tour payments are deposited. Transactions made by passengers from outside of California are not covered by the Fund. All payments for travel services not provided to the passengers shall be promptly refunded, in accordance with the agreed-to terms. Responsibility Clause Any person reserving or purchasing travel services offered by Good Times Travel, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as “GTT”) accepts the following conditions. GTT is responsible to you in making arrangements including, but not limited to transportation, accommodations, sightseeing, meals, and tickets. The carriers, hotels and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of GTT. GTT acts only as an agent of the air carrier and/or the cruise line, while for all other purposes, GTT does not act as an agent for any party whatsoever. GTT is not responsible for the willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such suppliers or of any air carrier and/or cruise line or their respective employees, agents, or representatives, including, but not limited to, their failure to deliver or their partial or inadequate delivery of services. All certificates and other travel documents for travel services issued by GTT are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. Neither GTT, nor any representative, employee or affiliate shall be liable for any accident, injury, death, property damage, delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, distress or frustration, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other travel services, or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond GTT’s control, including but not limited to, weather, acts of terrorism, war, defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of, or changes in itinerary or schedules. GTT will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. It is understood that GTT will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken. GTT reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour or vacation at its discretion. GTT and/or their Tour Directors retain the right to terminate the participation (without refund) of any group member at their discretion, if such person’s health, actions or general deportment impede the operation of the tour and/or causes any hardship or loss of enjoyment to the Tour Director and/or other tour members. In such case there will be no refund to the tour member for the unused portion of the tour, and all additional expenses incurred, such as airline ticket change penalties, transfers to the airport etc., will be the sole responsibility of the tour member whose membership was terminated. GTT is not liable for any expenses or damages incurred by any tour member. GTT reserves the right to cancel or alter at their discretion and without notice, any tour including, but not limited to, change of dates, routing, change of hotels, meals, shows and/or sightseeing services of any tour in this catalog or any literature pertaining to a GTT travel package. All pricing is subject to change. GTT reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfare, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes, fuel surcharges, etc.. Parking at any of GTT’s designated departure points is at your own risk. GTT is not liable for any theft or damage to vehicles left at designated departure points or costs related to, and not limited to towing or retrieval of towed vehicles. GTT is not responsible, nor can it assume liability for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects due to breakage, theft, ordinary wear and tear, or through hotel, airline and group carrier handling, or other forces beyond our control. Participants may be photographed for promotional purposes. No person, other than an authorized representative of GTT by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions. A contract is made when payment is received by Good Times Travel, Inc. of Fountain Valley, CA and any dispute shall be governed by California law and subject to the jurisdiction of the County of Orange, CA. COMMON QUESTIONS Is there still space available on a tour? Browse our website, which is always kept up-to-date, or contact our office to check tour availability. Because tours sell out quickly we recommend that you reserve and pay for your space as soon as you know you want to go. How do I know I always have the most updated tour listing? Our website at www.goodtimestravel.com always has the most up-to-date tour availability. There you can register for our E-mailer – subscribers are the first to be notified of new tours as they become available. How does the airfare pricing work? We list the land price separate from the airfare price as some guests choose to use frequent flyer miles or make other arrangements to meet the group. If you wish to have Good Times handle the air ticketing, you should pay for the airfare as soon as possible to lock in the lowest rates as rates do increase. Do you offer travel insurance/cancellation protection? Yes and we highly recommend it. For all multi-day tours, we provide an optional travel insurance plan. Prices start at just $32 p.p. If I can’t make a tour, can a friend go? On most tours without air or train travel or high security, someone may go in your place to avoid cancellation fees. Notify our office of replacements. What type of motorcoaches do you use? The late-model, deluxe touring coaches that we use on our tours have large windows for best viewing, comfortable leather seats with seat belts, foot rests, electrical outlets, large monitors, a restroom and kneel for easy access. Will I receive tickets and seat assignments before the departure date? Other than a payment receipt or travel documents related to your multi-day tour, our office will not send tickets. These will be provided to you by your tour director on the motorcoach. Seat assignments are provided by your tour director on the first day of the tour. Seating priority is based on the order in which payment is received – unpaid reservations do not guarantee seat assignments. In fairness to all, seating requests for front of the coach are not accepted and any type of seating request is never guaranteed. What is the pacing or physical demands on your tours? Tour pacing and physical demands (walking, stairs, etc.) vary by each tour, however every tour involves some level of walking and entering/exiting the motorcoach. We do our best to provide the most information we can in the tour description or itinerary. More information is available on our website. Should I tip the driver, tour director and step-on-guide? Gratuities are customary and recognized in the industry as an appreciation for a job well done. We do not include these gratuities so that each passenger can tip the tour director and driver at their discretion. Suggested amounts per passenger/per day – Single-Day: $5-$8 – Multi-Day: $6-$10 What if I have a group of people that would like to go on a tour? We can customize and operate tours for any size group. We can also block space on any of our existing tours so there is no required minimum group size. Each day tour in this catalog lists the departure points served and the times (not all departure points may be listed). Parking at all departure points is at your own risk. FV Fountain Valley - Good Times Travel office Located at 17132 Magnolia St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Park in the lot behind the Good Times Travel office and CVS Pharmacy. Board the motorcoach directly in front of the Good Times Travel office. A parking permit (provided with your travel documents) is only required on multi-day tours. LAPC Los Angeles Pierce College Lot 8, Woodland Hills LBCC-O Long Beach City College Lot O Located at 4900 E. Conant St., Long Beach, CA 90808 in Lot “O” at Long Beach City College. Lot “O” is located just west of Clark Ave. and directly south of Veterans Memorial Stadium. Park in stalls on the west side of Building “O-1” (closer to Lakewood Blvd.) rather than in front. While you may park in “Staff” spaces, do not park in “30 Minute” spaces. A pre-paid, reusable parking permit is required for all single-day tours (available from your tour director) and multi-day tours (provided with your travel documents).
