POINT SAN LUIS LIGHTHOUSE TOUR<br />
Join a live docent via Zoom on any<br />

hour-long, virtual tour of the Avila Beach<br />
lighthouse. Travel back in time to 1890,<br />
delve into the light station’s history, explore<br />
the grounds, wander through the keeper’s<br />
dwelling, climb to the top of the lighthouse<br />
tower, step inside the fog signal building, and<br />
admire the stunning fourth-order Fresnel lens.<br />

HOLIDAY MAGIC AT THE ZOO<br />
Experience the magic of the holiday season<br />
at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero.<br />
Zookeepers step in as Santa’s elves to prepare<br />
gifts for the animals, including red pandas,<br />
monkeys, meerkats, parrots, a Malayan Tiger,<br />
a variety of reptiles, and many more. Santa<br />

country, the annual ARTS Obispo Open<br />
Studios Art Tour showcases some <strong>20</strong>0<br />

studios for visitors. Art in a variety of<br />
media and styles—from abstract and<br />
representational painting to wood, glass,<br />
metal, and ceramic—is displayed and<br />
sold by artists directly. This year art lovers<br />

San Luis Outdoor Painters for the<br />
Environment (<strong>SLO</strong>PE) offers up<br />
stunning originals and prints at Studios<br />
on the Park in Paso Robles through<br />
the end of the year. The region’s top<br />
landscape artists use their art to raise<br />
awareness, funding, and education for<br />
the Central Coast’s treasured open<br />
spaces, ranches, farmland, and wildlife. A<br />
portion of the proceeds benefit the Land<br />
Conservancy of San Luis Obispo.<br />

FALL JURIED EXHIBIT<br />
Tom Gould’s acrylic, “Evening Shore,”<br />
is the first-place winner in this year’s<br />
Fall Juried Exhibit being held in the<br />
Cambria Center for the Arts’ virtual<br />
gallery online. The exhibit was juried by<br />
Elizabeth “Libby” Tolley, an American<br />
painter known for her plein air and<br />
studio paintings of rural and coastal<br />
California. Many of the exhibit’s entries<br />
are available for sale.<br />

This exhibit demonstrates the flexibility<br />
