ENTREVISTADe dónde nace tu pasión por los perros?Una gran influencia en mi entusiasmo por la naturaleza engeneral, viene de mi descendencia familiar que siemprevivieron de tareas y ciclos relacionados al campo. En miniñez viví muchos años en el interior del país, teniendo laposibilidad de acompañar a mi padre (Medico Veterinario)en sus diferentes giras por distintos establecimientos. A mis20 años de edad, iniciando mi carrera de Veterinaria, empecéa pasear perros como una simple salida de estudiante. Esefue el inicio para ir descubriéndo esta gran pasión que mecambió la vida y me ayudó a crecer en muchos aspectos, anivel personal y emocional. Trabajando con manadas quedespués se fueron haciendo cada vez más grandes, comencéa descubrir que el comportamiento y la etología tenían queser mi especialización.Cómo aprendiste tanto acerca de ellos?Creo que la mejor universidad para un profesional, es lapráctica. A los pocos años de trabajo, tenía formado ungrupo de 23 perros. Mantener en movimiento esa cantidadde perros, generando armonia y equilibrio en el grupo, esalgo que requiere un gran control emocional y un importantecomponente práctico en cuanto a mis movimientos.La combinación de desarrollar una enorme pasiencia yun manejo práctico tranquilo pero preciso, es la partefundamental de los conocimientos que le transmito a lasfamilias que me consultan, y eso lo aprendí con los perros.Mi estilo en la rehabilitación de los perros, o mejor dicho, delas personas, no se basa en “educar” al animal con premiosde alimento, ni de enseñarle comandos. Lo que transmitoa las personas es de qué manera brindarle a sus perrosun estilo de vida que promueva su equilibrio emocional yde qué manera comunicarse con ellos para que capten elmensaje adecuadamente. Lo perros no se portan mal, ese esun término que utilizan las personas porque los humanizan.Cuando un perro está sobreexitado, rompe cosas, esagresivo, etcétera.. es un perro que está totalmente frustrado,sin rutina, privado de contacto social, expuesto a energíaspasionales muy complejas, sin posibilidad de gastar energía,entre otros factores. En definitiva es un animal que estápasando horrible y por ende, manifiesta comportamientosnegativos que van con esa energía.Cómo fusionás tus dos pasiones el arte y los perros?Pienso que mis dos grandes pasiones se fusionan de maneranatural, porque son cosas que disfruto mucho y son hechascon mis manos y energía. Ambas son al aire libre, y ninguna deellas las hago bajo presión u obligación. Es como que cada díaque me levanto necesito hacerlas.En qué cosas te inspirás?La matriz de mi inspiración en las cosas que hago en mi vida,es la naturaliza y su contacto.Y en tus obras cuál es tu inspiración?Siempre lo vinculado a los diseños que surgen de una talladirecta, tienen un estilo que busca una forma abstracta,basada en siluetas con cierta continuidad y formas femeninasen algunos casos. Eso al momento de tocar la esculturay leerla con las manos, genera una lectura agradable quelentamente te guía hacia el cambio de su misma forma. Laenergía de la naturaleza en general y sobre todo lo vinculadoal mar, son mis grandes motivadores para soñar las próximasobras. Los diseños ya están en el ambiente, sólo hay queencontrarlos. Crear no es hacer cosas “locas” y sos artista,todo lo abstracto tiene un fundamento y una lectura, en esesentido estoy en continuo crecimiento y aprendizaje graciasal artista plástico Diego Kröger con quien estoy totalmenteagradecido por iniciarme y acompañarme en este proceso.Cuál es la mejor parte de caminar con los perros y pasear?Lo que más me gusta de caminar con los perros es quedesarrollamos juntos una energía muy linda de pasar un buenmomento. Es nuestro momento, o mejor dicho el momentodel día de ese perro, y lo tiene que disfrutar y pasar bien. Lascosas que más valoro de mi trabajo es todo lo vinculado a laevolución de mi energía, ya que para que los perros esténfelices y equilibrados, también lo tiene que estar su líder. Porotra parte, caminar al aire libre y las fiestas que hacen cuandome ven llegar, son cosas que no me resisto y me hacen reír.Cómo hacés para que entre tantos perros todos se llevenbien?Es la típica pregunta que se hacen las personas cuando meven con un buen grupo. En realidad no hay que hacer “nada”,los perros son animales de manada y para ellos es totalmentenormal estar en grupo. Somos los humanos los que en muchasocaciones los privamos de ese contacto y por ende, nodesarrollan sus habilidades sociales. Por otra parte caminaren manada, de manera continua, obedece directamente alinstinto migratorio, por eso van todos juntos y ordenados.Las manadas migran y caminan largas distancias, en busca dedistintos recursos que son básicos para la supervivencia y elmantenimiento de su especie.Cómo llega Indio a tu vida?Una vez que me independicé de mi familia, me costó muchodecidirme a tener un perro, porque era consciente delcompromiso y la dedicación que ello requiere, para hacerlofeliz y que disfrute su vida. Cuando me sentí preparado sepresentó la oportunidad de adoptar un cruza con Pitbull, yese era indio.Siempre va a todos lados con vos?Todo lo que planifico en mi vida es contemplando elcompromiso que tengo con mis perros Indio, Harolda yTarzán. Ya sea para elegir el lugar en donde quiero vivir opara decidir cómo manejo mis tiempos, para verlos disfrutary correr siempre guardo energía, o la genero.Cuál es el primer consejo que le das a alguien que adoptaun perro?Que no lo adopte en un momento problemático de suvida. Muchas veces las personas adoptan en medio de unatormenta, es decir para cubrir y llenar algún tipo de carenciaemocional. Que piense bien en todas las responsabilidadesque va a tener. Tener un perro es lo más gratificante que hay,pero dan trabajo. O más bien, no dan trabajo si te gusta elestilo de vida que se necesita tener para poder compartirlocon un perro.Porqué es mejor la vida con animales?Nos conectan con lo que realmente somos, desde los inicios,no hay nada mas lindo que estar rodeado de naturaleza yanimales.
