Unaended luggage is one of the biggest problems for airports and police. But why is that?<br />

How come the luggage isn’t just ignored? Someone will pick it up soon, right? Unfortunately,<br />

it is not that easy. In the past suitcases and other types of luggage have been used for major<br />

terror aacks at airports all over the world. A scenario nobody wants to experience themselves<br />

or see happen again anywhere. That’s why airport security and police react so sensively when<br />

confronted with this situaon. Detecng unaended luggage in me to take care of it, is the<br />

biggest challenge for everyone involved. Somemes hours pass before a passenger, an airport<br />

staff member or a police officer noces the luggage standing somewhere.<br />
