Q. Hey Hadool, please tell us a bit<br />
about yourself & how you got into<br />
<strong>Cosplay</strong>?<br />
month and a half to create<br />
this cosplay. I was saving it<br />
up for a cosplay competition<br />
that was supposed to be held<br />
in March 2020, but then the<br />
convention was canceled due<br />
to Covid-19. Thanks to <strong>Cosplay</strong><br />
<strong>Arabia</strong>, I got an opportunity<br />
to showcase my work.<br />
The details of this cosplay<br />
were mainly created by I am<br />
most proud of how the bow<br />
turned out because of the<br />
level of detail. I’d like to take<br />
this opportunity to thank the<br />
people that helped showcase<br />
this cosplay; Nasser, Amirah,<br />
MT, Ali, Teddy and Abrar.<br />
Q. 2020 has been a<br />
roller-coaster ride! Tell us<br />
about some of the highs and<br />
lows you’ve faced?<br />
2020 was honestly my<br />
favorite year! Shocking,<br />
I know! The good thing<br />
about it is that I started to<br />
do cosplay photoshoots,<br />
both studio and outdoor.<br />
Throughout the 8 years of<br />
my cosplay journey, I never<br />
really took a proper shoot<br />
and I still question myself<br />
why. The bad part is that<br />
there aren’t any conventions,<br />
cosplay competitions or<br />
traveling and I miss that.<br />

Hi! I’m Hadeel. I am a half<br />
Kuwaiti-half Filipino cosplayer. I<br />
have been cosplaying for 8 years<br />
now. I love the Japanese culture,<br />
video games and make-up, and<br />
cosplay is a combination of those<br />
three things. At first, it started out<br />
as an experiment, my friend asked<br />
me to attend a cosplay convention<br />
with her. I was amazed to find this<br />
form of art in Kuwait and that’s<br />
how I learned about cosplay. So I<br />
joined the fun and I turned out to<br />
be very passionate about it and<br />
actually met some really good<br />
friends.<br />
