AQUATICS CAMPS
CAMP CANNONBALL • Completed Grades 1-5
Weeks 1-11: June 14-August 27

Do you love the water? Aquatics camp is perfect for water enthusiasts
interested in experiencing a camp filled with water sports and pool games.
Each day campers will be introduced to a new water sport and/or water
game in the pool while also participating in traditional camp activities such as
team building, character development and arts and crafts. Campers must be
able to pass the YMCA GREEN BAND swim test to participate, which requires
them to swim the length of the pool and tread water for 1 minute. Campers
should bring sunscreen, water bottle, swim suit, and towel each day of camp.

JR. LIFEGUARD CAMP • Completed Grades 6-8
Week 5: July 12-16
Week 8: August 2-6

Do you enjoy helping others? Our Jr. Lifeguard Camp is a hands-on
experience for campers to learn first aid, CPR, water rescue techniques
and other topics related to lifeguarding from trained and certified staff.
This valuable experience builds self-confidence and team work skills.
Campers must be comfortable in the water with the ability to swim
multiple pool lengths. Certification not included. This camp is an
introduction to lifeguarding.
