Dear Parents,
In January, we focused on
celebrating our differences,
dinosaurs, and the country
of Japan. The children’s
celebration of Japan at the end
of the month was fun and tasty!
Noodles, rice balls and mochi
bites were a Japanese treat!
In February, we will talk
about our presidents and healthy
eating.
Our color is pink and our
shape is the heart. Our letters
are L,l, F,f, and V,v and our
numbers are 6 for the 3 year old
class and 11,12 and 13 for the
4/5year old classes.
Our Valentine exchange will
be on Thursday, Feb.11th and
Friday, Feb. 12th. We will send
home a class list with names if
you need them for gender specific
cards. Otherwise, PLEASE
JUST LEAVE THE FRONT OF
THE ENVELOPES BLANK!!!
Unless your child is really
interested in writing the names
of his/her classmates (most are
not!). Please send a Valentine
for each child so no one feels
like Charlie Brown. Treats are
optional. Encourage your child
to write as much of THEIR name
as they can on each Valentine.
Loving and caring about one
another the way Jesus taught us
is always important, but having a
special day to concentrate on it
will be an added treat.
There will be no school on
Monday, February 15th due
to Presidents’ Day, a national
holiday.

feel blessed and pleased by your
support.
