Overdose Hotline<br />
•People with SUD in emergency situations should call 911 in<br />
the United States. This number is available 24 hours, 7 days a<br />
week, 365 days a year. A free phone counseling hotline is not<br />
equipped to deal with emergencies.<br />
•The <strong>National</strong> Poison Control Center can be reached at 1-800-<br />
222-1222 for free, confidential information from experts on<br />
poisons including drug and alcohol overdose.<br />
•1-800-999-9999 is a <strong>National</strong> Directory of drug abuse hotline<br />
numbers and crisis intervention centers.<br />
