HER LIFE 

Josephine Bright a mother and Grandmother has lived her life in a very 

humbled way, dedicated to raising her children. 

She appreciated the simple things in life and loved effortlessly. 

HER LIKES 

She was a leader that always wanted to have things right with high integrity. 

A strong committed Christian in the Catholic faith, prayed at St. Charles 

Lwanga Catholic Church. 

Always loved hosting and entertaining friends and family at her house. 

She also loved flowers, gardening and farming. 

Josephine could not skip more than three months minus having something 

that would bring people together at her house.

HER FAMILY & CHILDREN 

Raised us in a very humbling way, with so much love, care and committment. 

Her kindness was infectious. 

Although she lived with a chronic illness, Authitis for over 40 years, 

having been in faith most of the times, even when she was in pain, 

she always kept a smile on her face to give hope and confort to 

everyone around her. 

She was a selfless Soul. 

May Her Soul continue to rest in Peace and may the good Lord continue 

to strengthen Her family and friends.

Those Special Memories will always bring a smile, if only I would have you back for just a little while. 

Then we could sit and talk again. Oh my beloved sister, that now is not with me again, let me recall those 

old days in Mbarara at home. An intelligent and humble daughter in the family, with passion to study, 

starting from the primary school to that strong well known Nyakasura School in Fort-portal, Western 

Uganda and even beyond. At home we sat together and indeed you took care of me, as your young sibling. 

The fact that you are no longer here, will always cause me pain. The fact that I never said goodbye to you 

due to circumstances beyond my control makes me think you are there. Indeed I know you are there in that 

peaceful heaven and one time I will join you there. Definitely the care you gave me, the advice, the comfort 

and the support in one way or the other still counts in my heart. 

Oh my Lord, I know you are no longer there, but my Heart is still with you. A gallant daughter to our 

family, a mother and indeed a strong one who fought day and night for the upbringing and success of your 

children, who qualify as witnesses to this, will never make us forget you and makes you a great mother of 

all the time on earth. Remember you never said to me; I am leaving not even goodbye. You were gone 

before I knew it and only God knows why. My mind still talks to you. My heart still looks for you. 

Josephine as the ‘’Nalongo’’, the young and the elders knew, my beloved sister, that my children called 

Auntie, that my wife praised and respected, I still miss you so much and will do for ever. Your parents who 

joined heaven before, I think now they can see you and recall the love they had for you. 

God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart. Yours Brother

Mama, death has made me realize that I truly never knew the meaning of the words ' I Miss 

You' until I reached for your hand and it's no where to be found. Omulungi wange I now 

know why you would ask me to always be a strong woman cause you knew that a day like this 

would come where I need nothing but strength to bear such a big loss. Mama you taught me 

everything except one of not living without you, Miss your love, care, guidance and being 

around you. Here wishing God can do me a miracle and introduce heaven visiting hours so

Mom Nalomgo was the strongest lady I ever met both in character and at heart. I doubt 

there enough words that can describe her unique personality but to me. She was a friend 

that brought light and laughter . I wish I had the chance to tell her how much of an 

inspiration she was to me before her passing. I pray that she has a new found peace in the 

afterlife as her memory lives on through all that loved her.

my loss or the way I feel after losing my best friend my mentor my mum and my one and 

only wife if heaven was a lane I would have walked straight and bring back that Bright
