Reports of boys basketball
games online
Those who follow Haddonfield boys basketball
know there’s no more knowledgeable, or more
devoted, fan of the Dawgs than Lauree Padgett.
And even if challengers were to emerge, they
could not match Lauree’s prolific output of written
reports of individual games and entire seasons,
stretching back decades.
You can read Lauree’s game reports for the
current season on Haddonfield[dot]Today. Search

INTERFAITH CAREgivers
WELCOMES ITS NEW
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The board of trustees
of Interfaith Caregivers
is delighted to announce
the appointment of
Larissa Willison as the
organization’s new executive
director.
A graduate of the
University of Pennsylvania
and a Haddonfield resident,
Mrs. Willison has been deeply
engaged in community building and fundraising
throughout our region.
Her non-profit leadership experiences at
Habitat for Humanity and the Haddonfield
Educational Trust provide a solid foundation for
the work she will lead at Interfaith Caregivers.
In welcoming Larissa Willison, Interfaith
Caregivers’ president Judith Wilson said that
although the search committee interviewed
many well-qualified candidates, they were “most
impressed by Mrs. Willison’s strategic thinking,
ability to build networks of support, and deep level
of care for Interfaith Cargivers’ mission.”
Interfaith Caregivers helps seniors in our community maintain
their independence by providing free services to medical
appointments, grocery stores, senior centers and more.
We are a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization supported by
charitable donations. Our volunteers serve clients who live
in Haddonfield and Haddon Heights, in addition to members
of churches in Haddonfield and Haddon Heights who live in
contiguous communities (Audubon, Barrington, Bellmawr,
Cherry Hill, Haddon Township, Lawnside, Mt. Ephraim).

Haddonfield
goes Irish
Why celebrate St.
Paddy’s Day for one day,
when you can celebrate
for five? Haddonfield’s
five-day celebration –
Paddy Bash – will kick
off on Wed Mar 17 and
run through Sun Mar 21.
The reason for having
the event over five
days is more than an
excuse to extend the
celebration. The hope is
to spread the crowd out
over five days to help
with social distancing
and, of course, to
drive more traffic to
Downtown Haddonfield.
The idea originated
with Ian Whitfield,
owner of The British
Chip Shop, who was
partly inspired by the
multi-day celebration
of Oktoberfest at King’s
Road Brewery in the fall.
Ian chatted with Bob
Hochgertel, co-owner of
the brewery, and Paddy
Bash was born.
Other participants
in Paddy Bash include:
Denim BYOB, English
Gardener Gift Shop,
Mecha Chocolate, Pizza
Crime, TAL32 Bespoke
Confectionery.
They, and others
being added daily, will
be offering special Irish
products, deals and
meals throughout the
week, including gifts
and books, food and
beverage to-go options,
in-house dining options
and more.
Tickets for the Bash
are not required,
although some
restaurants may require
reservations.
