This meeting was called to order at 1:11pm. Board Members present were: Richard Nasrallah, James<br />

Sewell, Bill Nasrallah, Barbara “Beamer” Cronk, Jim Cass, Milton Gonzalez, Steve Nasrallah, Becky<br />

Speer and Patti Nasrallah.<br />

1. INTRODUCTIONS & PRESIDENTS REPORT: Richard welcomed all guests and visitors. He also<br />

introduced & welcome John Lowe as the chapter’s new Newsletter Editor. Richard led pledge <strong>of</strong> allegiance<br />

and a moment <strong>of</strong> silence.<br />

2. VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT: James Sewell – Nothing to Report.<br />

3. SECRETARY’S REPORT: Beamer reported that there were no changes submitted for the chapter<br />

meeting minutes. Motion made by Milton Gonzalez that last month’s minutes will be printed in the newsletter<br />

and therefore do not need to be read to the chapter at this time – motion seconded by James<br />

Sewell - Chapter voted & this motion carried.<br />

4. TREASURER: Bill Nasrallah reported that due to the ongoing expenses for <strong>Spooks</strong> N <strong>Scoots</strong> that a<br />

monthly treasury report was not available at this time. Bill stated that if any member had any questions<br />

on the chapter’s financial position to please see him after the meeting. Motion made by Patti to accept<br />

the treasurer’s report – Mike Speer seconded the motion – Chapter voted & this motion carried.<br />

5. MEMBERSHIP TRUSTEE: Steve Nasrallah reported that the chapter has 209 members as <strong>of</strong> today.<br />

He gave out packets for our chapter’s 4 new Life members 1) Jo-el Dampier Jr. 2) Bill Nasrallah 3<br />

John Lowe and 4) himself. He also welcomed new member Rosa Laudermilt. He also reminded everyone<br />

that there are 50/50 and drawing prize tickets available today – please buy some – support your<br />

chapter. He also mentioned that he also has the State tickets for the cash drawing and if any members<br />

have any sold ones to please turn those in w/ the monies. Beamer made a motion to accept the Membership<br />

Report - motion seconded by Mike Speer - Chapter voted & this motion carried.<br />

6. PRODUCTS TRUSTEE: Becky Speer reported that the Chapter shirt order is in, but new prices<br />

needed to be determined (raw shirt prices have gone up and affected the cost the chapter has to pay for<br />

them). She has a sign-up sheet for volunteers for <strong>Spooks</strong> N <strong>Scoots</strong> for the Products Tent and urged<br />

people to help. She also let everyone know that if they needed anything to please let her know.<br />

7.SERGEANT AT ARMS: Jim Cass reported that after the meeting our “work day” for <strong>Spooks</strong> N <strong>Scoots</strong><br />

would be taking place (inventory on the bins in the trailer). He also asked for volunteers for Security for<br />

<strong>Spooks</strong>.<br />

8. LEGISLATIVE TRUSTEE: Milton Gonzalez reported that session will begin soon and gave a report<br />

on several non-motorcycle related bills. Information for these bills is available via the State website on<br />

the Legislative page. Milton also discussed that the Tallahassee Freedom Rights Rally will be in February<br />

in 2012 (due to changes with sessions) – he asked if you have any ideas on Bills you would like to<br />

see <strong>ABATE</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Florida</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. support, research, review, etc. to please let him know asap. Motion made by<br />

Beamer to accept the Legislative Report - motion seconded by James Sewell - Chapter voted & this motion<br />

carried.
