Christian Blind Mission International Australia: CBMABUOT: Is a Christian International development organization, committed to improvingthe qualities of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the worldirrespective of race, gender or religious belief.Based on its core values and over 100 years of professional expertise, CBM addressespoverty both as a cause and a consequence of disability, and works in partnership withlocal and national civil society organization to create an inclusive society for all.CBM is a federation composed of 11 national member associations based in Australia,Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, theUnited Kingdom and the United States and an International Office with a network ofregional and country offices that works closely with our partners in Africa, Asia and LatinAmerica.In Bangladesh they work in partnership with the Government and Local non-Governmental and disabled people’s organizations for the promotion, protection and fullenjoyment of all Human rights and fundamental freedom of people with Disability.APPROCH: Through their Disability-Inclusive Development approach they addresses thebarriers the barriers that hinder access and participation and actively seeks to ensure thefull participation of people with disabilities as empowered self-advocates in alldevelopment and emergency response processes.Program priorities for 2016-2020 are as follows:1.
