Queen

Sheba to drop an album in April

By Andrew Ndhlovu

United Kingdom based artist, Queen Sheba, whose

real name is Rachel Khan Muyepa, is set to

release her first album titled ‘Magobo’ in

April this year.

Sheba told Reflo Magazine that her

music is important, as it attracts people’s

attention hence it is necessary for her to

release music with meaningful messages

that can bring change to the world.

She said that, ’Magobo’ is a song whose

message is about a hard working person

who wants to achieve something in life.

The idea came up because she is one

such person who has come a long

way to reach where she is.

“In this song, I’m explaining how

I work hard and I believe that

nothing comes easy, therefore I

encourage people to work hard to

achieve their dreams,” Sheba said.

She further explained that the

album has songs like Zikomo Mai

Wanga which is a dedication to all mothers

in the world, who have done a lot of things

just to make sure that their children make it

in life.

“The song Zikomo Mai Wanga is just

complimenting my message in the titled

track ‘Magobo’ but in this one I am

appreciating all mothers out there for the

effort of taking good care of us to reach

where we are,” she laughs.

She added that fans should expect good

music from her, as she is working with

Wikise, Rash Ley, Beanca, Rita and Phyzix in

her new album.

Sheba urged every artist who has made a

name in the music industry to help those

who are trying to make it there.

“I want to ask those at higher levels to at

least help us the up and coming artists, as

we are working hard to establish ourselves

in the industry.”

“It is not easy out there for someone like

me or anyone else who is new to organise

a show without any old guys in the industry,”

Queen Sheba said.
