A reflection on this past semester
Hello! I’ve been working on finishing up the last few hours of my internship here recently and
that’s been a fun time! Over the course of this internship, I have gotten to experience a lot of
things that I do not think I would have had the chance to be part of. Getting to plan and
participate in a Give-a-Bible party, join a board meeting for a nonprofit organization, get to
deliver Bibles to a ministry partner, practice networking, have meetings with various churches
and other nonprofit partner organizations. I don’t think I would have had anywhere near the
opportunities to be part of these things without doing this internship for Know Ministries. Yes,
it has required me to be flexible but that is what life requires, so what better way to put that
into practice with an internship that will not only require flexibility but that will be
understanding of my schedule as well, 10 out of 10 would recommend doing this internship if
you get the chance. Honestly, even if you can’t do the internship I would 100 percent
recommend trying to find a way to get involved with this amazing ministry opportunity, it is
beyond worth it to join them. If I could share just one thing that I learned from this internship
it would be that anybody can give money, but not everybody will give their time. So I would like
to implore you wonderful readers today to take a little time out of your schedule to help this
awesome organization in its mission to share Christ with the children of this world. Some
people write puff pieces that seem like advertisements for organizations but I can assure you
that this is no puff piece, this comes from someone who has been behind the scenes, helping to
put the fluff in the toy if you will, something that kids will love to learn about. The Love and
Word of God are powerful and can absolutely make a difference in a child’s life, it makes it
worth being a part of the mission that Know Ministries holds dear.
