The daddy of UK road trips since its launch in 2014, the<br />
NC500 takes in 500 miles of stunning scenery, hugging<br />
the northern coastline of the Scottish Highlands.<br />
Described as a jaw-droppingly beautiful road trip route,<br />
the route takes in some of the most picturesque scenery<br />
in the world.<br />
Deserted sandy beaches with Caribbean blue waters,<br />
scrumptious fresh seafood, whisky distilleries, amazing<br />
castles, scenic lochs, , wonderful walking routes, a diverse<br />
range of wildlife and enough activities to tire out even the<br />
most active tourist.<br />
It’s recommended you spend 7-10 days driving the NC500<br />
to experience the route properly. Please note that the<br />
single-track roads that make up much of the route aren’t<br />
that caravan-friendly and that the NC500 is especially<br />
popular in July and August.<br />
