LARNED — Kathleen V. Yeager, 92, died Feb. 26 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Larned. She was born July 15, 1911, at<br />
Macksville, the daughter of John and Ella Bryan McMorran. She was a graduate of the University of Kansas. She married Robert<br />
Reed Yeager Sept. 28, 1933, at Sedgwick. A longtime resident of Larned, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Yeager was a member of<br />
First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women and PEO, all of Larned. Survivors include Her husband of the home, one son,<br />
Richard Allen of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Ann Stanton of Larned; one sister, Helen Adams of Larned; six grandchildren; and<br />
five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Don McMorran. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the<br />
church with the Rev. Jim Hawthorne officiating. Burial will be at Larned Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday<br />

Eynour “Eva” Keller, 68, of Great Bend, died Feb. 23 at Great Bend. She was born June 1, 1935, at Eastland, Texas, the<br />
daughter of Charles W. “Pappy” and Jenovia Catlin James. She was a resident of Great Bend. Survivors include her father of<br />
Great Bend. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the dining room area, 12th Floor, of Great Bend High Rise, 1101<br />

Gilbert J. Sander 1927-<strong>2004</strong><br />
Gilbert J. Sander, 76, of Great Bend, died Feb. 26 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus in Wichita. He was<br />
born Nov. 19, 1927, the son of Joseph J. and Adeline Meis Sander. As a young boy, his mother taught him to polka and he loved<br />
both dancing the polka and polka music. He married Joyce M. Burkhart June 25, 1947, in Hays. She died Nov. 27, 1990. He<br />
married Crystal Lietner Taylor May 12, 1995, in Great Bend. A resident of Great Bend since 1968, coming from Hoisington, he<br />
was an oil field pumper for Lasmo Energy of Great Bend. Sander was a faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a lifetime<br />
member of Great Bend American Legion and Eagles Lodge and a lifetime member of Hoisington Veterans of Foreign Wars. His<br />
hobby was cooking German food and fishing. He served as a seaman in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife of the home;<br />
six daughters, Sharon M. Fox of St. Louis, Mo., Becky S. Wornkey and Shirley A. Tomlin, both of Great Bend, Debbie K. Shank of<br />
Hays, Patty L. Michael of Otis and Connie J. Sander of Denver, Colo.; one daughter-in-law, Marcia K. Sander of Irving, Texas;<br />
two stepsons, Larry Taylor of Lenora and Tracy Taylor of Kansas City; two brothers, Wilmer Sander of Great Bend and Frank<br />
Sander of Jacksonville, Ark.; two sisters, Arla Johnson of Lewisberg, W.Va., and Wanita “Sandy” Basgall of Great Bend; 13<br />
grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jim Sander; two<br />
brothers, Melvin and Alvin Sander; two sisters, Leona Vonfeldt and Cecelia Dreiling; and one grandson, Darren Wornkey. Vigil<br />
service will be at 7 tonight at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the<br />
Revs. Ted Stoecklein and Dermot Tighe officiating. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today<br />

Joyce A. Loreg, 67, of Great Bend, died Feb. 26 at Central Kansas Medical Center in Great Bend. She was born Oct. 13, 1936, at<br />
Zurich, the daughter of William and Victoria DesMarteau Benoit. She married Melvin D. Loreg Nov. 26, 1955, at Phillipsburg. A<br />
resident of Great Bend, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Loreg was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.<br />
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Clifford L. Loreg of Great Bend and Melvin “Junior” Loreg of Wichita; one<br />
daughter, Jeanette Sanders of Great Bend; one sister, Edna Bedard of Thornton, Colo.; and 6 grandchildren and 2 step<br />
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted Benoit and Henry Benoit; and one sister, Shirley Miller. Altar<br />
Society rosary will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. Vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral<br />
home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Ted Stoecklein officiating. Burial will be at Great<br />
