This book is dedicated to my boyfriend, AJ, and to<br />
every long-distance couple who struggled dur<strong>in</strong>g<br />
the 2020 pandemic. I couldn’t have made this book<br />

Thank you to all the long-distance couples who struggled the<br />
past year. Just know<strong>in</strong>g there were so many people out there<br />
like myself and AJ helped us so much and revitalized our hope<br />
for the future. I am so grateful I found the <strong>Love</strong> Is Not Tourism<br />
facebook group and discord server, for the people who contribute<br />
to it and the support system it provides. Without these groups<br />
I would have felt so much more isolated and would not have<br />
made this book.<br />
Thank you to my boyfriend, AJ, for his support <strong>in</strong> mak<strong>in</strong>g my<br />
book, and his openness to shar<strong>in</strong>g our story through my eyes<br />
with others <strong>in</strong> the world. I love you.<br />
Aspen McGlashan is a recent Design BFA<br />
graduate from Cornish College of the Arts.<br />
