SATUR-DAY OF CARING<br />
In April, Ed Muransky called our president Bob Hannon. He noticed that there was a population<br />
not being served during the pandemic - seniors, shut-ins, and families who could not and should<br />
not be out due to the threat of COVID-19. Together, we started our Satur-Day of Caring. We<br />
reached out to partner agencies for a list of their clients in need. At our first Satur-Day of Caring,<br />
25 volunteers packed food and delivered it to 110 households. We continued every Saturday for 8<br />
weeks and grew to serve 240 homes with 60 volunteers.<br />

SATUR-DAY OF CARING CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY<br />
We expanded this initiative on December 12. Thanks to the support of<br />
Southwoods Health and Chris and Ed Muransky, we hosted a food giveaway at the<br />
Covelli Centre. We distributed 700 boxes of food, helping more than 2,633 people.
