A Word from the V.P. of Membership

The Membership Committee of Temple Adas Shalom is back!!!! Engagement is
the theme for growing our membership and building our community inside the
congregation and outside where we live.
The Membership Committee is a team, core sustained by our Fundraising,
Caring, Social Action/Tikkun Olam, and Social Committee leaders, and
expanded by additional members of the congregation who want to participate
in developing our sense of congregational community.
Working together, we seek to grow our membership, increase social awareness,
continue our caring outreach towards recognizing all the good things that
happen, understanding when difficulties occur. Help/support is sometimes
needed, and being there during grief when support sometimes is just being
there. Our Social Committee is planning lots of fun events where we can get
outside, be active, have fun, and especially meet each other, again or for the first
time.
There is a Value Proposition of membership to Temple Adas Shalom. The value
is being a community that does things together. Be it Adult Education
opportunities; Religious School for the children and young adults; Our ELC for
smaller ones; Being involved in local community action and charities; Socially
engaged with fun events; and our sacred commitment to Judaism, the religious
bond and history that interweaves us.
Look for the opportunities in the monthly Newsletter to participate and our
weekly bulletins and special emails. The more you do, the more we all grow
together.
