Role Description<br />
The Board now wishes to appoint a General Manager for <strong>Oxygen</strong> <strong>House</strong> Limited to lead the company’s<br />
activities, develop its expertise, and help the wider Group achieve its ambitions of further growth and<br />
best-in-class service delivery. In this next phase, embedding sustainability across all areas of Group<br />
activity is going to be of particular importance. <strong>Oxygen</strong> <strong>House</strong> has set an ambition to reach Net Zero<br />
Greenhouse Gas emissions by 2030.<br />
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the newly created position of General Manager will provide<br />
<strong>Oxygen</strong> <strong>House</strong> Limited with overall leadership and direction. They will help to define <strong>Oxygen</strong> <strong>House</strong>’s<br />
future agenda, and then inspire the wider team to make it a reality.<br />
Key priorities for the role will include:<br />
Sustainability<br />
• creating a clear overarching sustainability strategy for the Group, applying rigorous and consistent<br />
criteria that cover everything from what the building offers in its canteen through to employee<br />
commuting;<br />
• positioning and cultivating the <strong>Oxygen</strong> <strong>House</strong> brand as a thought leader and influencer in<br />
sustainability and ethical business practice and investment;<br />
• developing an expert and progressive knowledge base about sustainability within the team and across<br />
the Group’s businesses;<br />
• continually expanding the company’s insight and capability in this area;<br />
• acting as a key influencer in championing the sustainability journey, both within the Group and<br />
externally.<br />

• working with the Board and the team to review the company’s strategic and operational position;<br />
• creating a long-term Strategic Plan;<br />
• ensuring strategic planning encompasses the Group’s impact and people ambitions, as well as its<br />
commercial, operational and financial objectives.
