you for this summer?<br />

A: We will be brimming with essentials<br />

for BBQs, picnics, and al fresco dining.<br />

Inside the shop will be a bounty of fresh<br />

fruit and veg. Outside, our garden café<br />

will be serving an ever-changing menu<br />

of seasonal and local produce, and our<br />

amazing coffee. We also have a perfectly<br />

curated selection of pots and plants.<br />

Q: What products do you offer?<br />

A: We have a well-s<strong>to</strong>cked pantry of whole<br />

foods, baking goods, condiments and more.<br />

There’s also a deli and cheese counter, a<br />

huge selection of wines and beers, and all<br />

the best products from the rest of the world<br />

alongside harder-<strong>to</strong>-find ingredients.<br />

Q: How local is <strong>your</strong> produce?<br />

A: We use over 50 local suppliers, growers,<br />

producers and makers. Our deli counter<br />

represents five local cheese makers. We<br />

also have meat from an ethical butchery<br />

in West Sussex, daily deliveries of artisan<br />

bread from a Sussex bakery, milk and<br />

cream from a local dairy and our delicious<br />

strawberries are picked and delivered<br />

daily from only a mile up the road.<br />

Q: What are you really passionate about?<br />

A: As well as quality and cus<strong>to</strong>mer service,<br />

we pride ourselves on being able <strong>to</strong> provide<br />

for every shopper. From our local regulars<br />

popping in for a pint of milk or a big<br />

shop for the week ahead, <strong>to</strong> those visiting<br />

the area – we have all they will need <strong>to</strong><br />

make their stay a happy foodie one!<br />

Paley Farm<br />

Q: What will<br />

for this summer?<br />

A: Meat with exceptional<br />

flavour that will<br />

impress even the most<br />

discerning food lovers.<br />

This summer we have lots<br />

of BBQ treats including incredible sharing steaks,<br />

flavourful racks of pork ribs, and our speciality<br />

cheddar and herb-infused cheesy burgers.<br />

Q: How local is <strong>your</strong> produce?<br />

A: Nestled away on a Cranbrook farm, we breed and<br />

rear all our own lives<strong>to</strong>ck <strong>to</strong> the highest welfare<br />

standards, paying special attention <strong>to</strong> their diets. All<br />

our grass-fed beef is from our herd of native Sussex<br />

cattle. Our flock of sheep are grass-fed Romneys, Paley<br />

free range pork comes from our Saddleback sows<br />

crossed with a Tamworth boar, and finally, our venison<br />

is provided by the wild herds of fallow and roe deer<br />

that travel around the farm – it couldn’t be more local!<br />

Q: What are you really passionate about?<br />

A: Providing outstanding meat with exceptionally high<br />

welfare and the best quality assurance. We combine<br />

traditional <strong>value</strong>s with farming ethical, grass-fed<br />

native lives<strong>to</strong>ck. We have our own butchery, so we<br />

know exactly where our meat is from and every<br />

step it has taken. Our pigs are fully free range, bred<br />

and reared, and the cattle and sheep are certified<br />

Pasture for Life, guaranteeing they have enjoyed<br />

the highest welfare and the best natural diet.<br />

Perry Court Farm<br />

Q: What will cus<strong>to</strong>mers visit<br />

you for this summer?<br />

A: Our veg boxes, packed with<br />

summer berries, freshly cut lettuce,<br />

summer squash, beans and lots<br />

of Kentish new pota<strong>to</strong>es! Later in<br />

the season plums, sweetcorn, firs<strong>to</strong>f-the-season<br />

apples and Kentish<br />

cob nuts will also be added.<br />

Q: How local is <strong>your</strong> produce?<br />

A: Our veg boxes are 80-100%<br />

home grown in the summer time, straight from our<br />

fields in the previous 24 hours. Our dairy, bakery<br />

and meat staples are all sourced from within Kent.<br />

Q: What are you really passionate about?<br />

A: We are aiming for completely plastic-free products<br />

and so far have returnable milk bottles from<br />

Hinxden Dairy, Ecover refills, and a refill station<br />

for oats, pulses and nuts. The veg boxes have no<br />

packaging and we reuse our boxes and punnets.<br />
