Thursday 5th August 11:00

1 The Meeting shall be open to all dinghies and keelboats with PN 847-1445.

2 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.

3 The entrant shall be deemed to be the Helmsman named on the Entry Form.

4 Applications to change boat must be submitted in writing and approved by the Sailing Secretary prior to

the start of the race in question. Helms may not change boat during a series.

5 Mirrors may be sailed single handed. During a series, it will not be permitted to swap between single

handed and crewed racing.

6 Anyone on the jetty or on the water must wear a personal buoyancy aid at all times.

7 The Handicap Fleets will be split in to fast, medium and slow. The specific cut off points for the Handicap

Fleets may vary from the advertised numbers, depending on entry.

8 At the discretion of the Race Committee additional fleet starts may be granted to any class having enough

entrants.

9 At the discretion of the Race Committee fleet starts may be withdrawn for any class if there are

insufficient entrants.

10 Keelboat owners leave their boats on Club moorings at their own risk.

11 No persons under the age of 18 years may be resident on the site without being accompanied by an

adult. All nominated guardians are required to sign the declaration of responsibility.

12 The Club Council reserve the right to refuse entry to the event or request any person causing a

persistent nuisance to leave the Club Grounds. Visitors will be expected to be quiet on the camp site after

midnight.

13 Generators are not permitted on site.

14 Children under 14 are not permitted in the clubhouse after 10pm.

15 Dogs are not allowed on site.

16 Only one car per tent/caravan on site. Separate car park available.

17 Any alteration to these conditions or other details of this brochure shall be at the discretion of Bass SC.

ATM in Post Office and Co-op

Bikes Children are welcome to ride their bikes

around the club site with the exception of the area

directly around of the clubhouse. Please encourage

all children to be responsible with their speed and to

take care around cars and boats.

Bins and recycling Please use the rubbish bins

located by the gate to dispose of your waste. The bin

by the washing up sink is only for scraps discarded

during washing up. The refuse bins will be emptied

regularly so please avoid a buildup of rubbish in you

camping area. There are separate bins for recycling

card, paper and glass. Please try to separate your

waste as much as possible.

Butcher/Grocer Unfortunately, due to recent high

demand in local villages the butcher/grocer van will

not be visiting us this year.

BBQs You are welcome to have barbeques on

site, but please do not place disposable barbeques

directly onto the grass. Due to the recent prolonged

dry weather please take extra care when using

barbeques. Please ensure that the ashes have cooled

completely before discarding into rubbish bins.
